Shakespeare said the wish was father to the thought. (1)
How can I possibly write about universal basic income being made part of a ruling party’s platform without the wish being father to the thought? (2)
What could I say that would not be ransacking heaven and earth to prove my thesis? Why even try?
Who’ll be the first to win this horse race?

Hot damn! Are we close to getting a Universal Basic Income? Is the world near to seeing the very first fully-functioning program?
Wahoo!!!
I’m so excited by the news that the Liberals in Canada are looking at making it top priority in their platform. About time. The Liberals are the party in power. That means that UBI would de facto become the policy of the government. (3)
Oooohhh, I am excited!
If Canada is taken care of, it’d be time to go to another country and fund a UBI. My work may be getting done before we even get out of the starting gate.
Where would Prime Minister Justin Trudeau get the money?
Would that not involve a basic shift in values? Like: Why not lead the way in disarming? What in heaven’s name does Canada need F-35s for? War will soon be a thing of the past. Where’s the need?
Scaling back alone could support its citizens in a worry-free life. Guns or butter, fellahs. Sooner or later the only viable option will be peace.
Or do we wait for NESARA when none of the present governments will remain in power? And the same outcome as I just described will be mandated anyways, worldwide?
There’s much good ground to be gained by going down a road now that all world leaders know we’re going to have to travel anyways. Why not leave office as a hero that led the way rather than an obstruction that had to be removed?
The direction of life is not from abundance to poverty but from poverty to abundance. The universal laws promote plenty not lack.
We know that you know that we’re no longer fooled by “trickle-down” economics and “enlightened self-interest.” The wealth of this planet must and will be redistributed.
Who holds it back and who lets it flow will be the subject of future history.
On which side of the line do you wish to be seen?
