It’s said that anyone who has a spiritual experience is usually so enthusiastic about it that all they want is for others to share it.
So they talk about it and talk about it.
Of his experience of the Divine Plan, Krishnamurti said:
‘The really important thing is … the knowledge of God’s plan for men. For God has a plan, and that plan is evolution. When once a man has seen that and really knows it, he cannot help working for it and making himself one with it, because it is so glorious, so beautiful.” (1)
The person cannot help working for it, talking about it, encouraging others to share in it, and so on.
Most enlightened sages can be found turning around and teaching others the road to enlightenment, etc. And for many that’s all they’ll talk about.
Similarly with me, some of the experiences I’ve had I simply want others to have.
I’m thinking particularly of what I call the “heart opening” I had on March 13, 2015. Yes, here I am talking about it again. It was that kind of experience. I think of March 13 as my Birth Day.
Use of the term “heart opening” has no connection to any attitude (“She has an open heart and he has a closed heart”). It refers to a very specific spiritual experience which I’ll do my best to describe.
I was sitting at my desk three hours before I had a reading with Archangel Michael. An energy entered my foot and began running up my leg.
If it was the kundalini, I’d have expected it to start in the root chakra. This did not. However I knew it to be the Mother’s shakti or energy just the same.
When it reached the heart chakra, there was an explosion and the hridayam, or heart aperture (usually closed) opened, and some obstruction the size of a basketball was expelled.
After that love flowed, not roughly as in a physical torrent, but irresistibly as in a spiritual torrent. I was swept clean in the tsunami of love which began at that moment and carried on for six and a half months.
I called it “transformative love” because, unlike ordinary love which is affected by the circumstances, transformative love transforms the circumstances. There’s no experience of what we think of as negative emotions in that higher-dimensional space.
I think of it as Fifth-Dimensional; Michael has called it Seventh-Dimensional. It’s what will make the world work and we’ll all experience it in our near future, I believe.
It did not come with a user’s manual. No words were spoken. I had to piece together later what had actually occurred. Oh, a heart opening. Oh, a fourth-chakra experience. That’s what that was.
Archangel Michael helped me understand it on one occasion. It simply did not occur to me – even though I knew the spiritual energy had reached the fourth chakra and I was immersed in love – that I had had an enlightenment experience. He corrected me.
Archangel Michael: I am suggesting that you are probably between the fourth and fifth [chakras].
Steve Beckow: But I haven’t had an experience of the fourth chakra that I’m aware of. Have I?
AAM: Oh, yes, you have!
SB: What would it have been? The heart opening?
AAM: The heart opening is the blessing in which you became more clearly aware of your infinite, eternal Self.
SB: It didn’t happen in a blinding light or anything.
AAM: No, it did not. It happened in the quiet of the day and the night. (2)
My circumstances now presented me with a quandary. I don’t know if one can achieve a heart opening without an angel’s intercession and I don’t know if having a fourth-chakra experience of another type – say, the seeing of a light or a form of God – would bring a heart opening. More questions arose than were settled.
I find myself in the awkward position of saying, “Ask your angel guides for a heart opening,” and not knowing any other way of approaching the matter. I did not do it unaided to be able to say how I did it. For that matter, I didn’t do it at all. It was a gift of the angels.
There were three things that I did do which Michael said contributed. I can share those.
The first thing was that I did an exercise that saw me draw love up from my heart on the inbreath and send it out to the world on the outbreath. Michael said that primed the pump.
The second was the depth of my love for … well, I guess I can say it now … Kathleen, my sacred partner. Michael said that that love reached the level of transformative love at times. I just thought of it as mad, reckless passion.
And the third thing – if I recall – was that I wanted the experience. They granted my wish.
My heart is now no longer closed but it’s also not completely open, Michael tells me. It’s like a door that opens and closes with the wind.
I no longer experience torrential love, but I can summon up love from my heart nonetheless. The flow, if not torrential, is endless.
Always, the angels mediate enlightenment to humans. (3) That’s why Archangel Michael’s joke to Archangel Gabrielle a while back was so funny: “Got a light?” Who is he intending to en-light-en?
In this case, Archangel Michael mediated an experience for me. But that’s not unusual. Behind every enlightenment experience, I think, you’ll find an angel who’s “got a light.”
So in my yearning to have other people share this same experience, I’m reduced to saying: “Ask the angels.” In there hands lies the key to opening the heart.

But the experience I had was indeed the result of the energy reaching the fourth-chakra and it was not a truncated experience like so many others have been.
Nonetheless when I normally use the word “enlightenment,” I’m referring to Sahaja Samadhi, mukti, liberation.

Michael acknowledges that angels do this in these asides:
Archangel Michael: When all is done, when peace within you exhibits on the outside, which is not just no war but truly harmonious relationships and ways of being and behavior, then I will invite you to come and listen to our music. More importantly you will hear our music and you will see me painting the sky.
Steve Beckow: That means something, Lord, a little bit more than just the words might seem to indicate, does it not? If I were to hear your music that would transport me to another realm, would it not?

There is a new energy, can we call it a tertiary wave, though it is more than that; that comes to the planet directly from the heart of the Mother. And yes, we are her delivery agents. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow, April 3, 2015.)
They’re the delivery agents for all enlightenment.
