The realization has set in that my primary role in helping humanity evolve is to channel – even when I write articles. This might seem obvious to those of you who’ve read my channeled messages since 2011, but it just hit me in a very profound way.
I sat down to write an article about the necessity of upliftment, and I found that beyond the simple statement ‘upliftment is a necessity’, little else came out. I hit what I can only call a creative block, which I’ve hit before, and I’ll admit that it was a little frustrating.
The whole process was unenjoyable, and looking back, I see that it was because I was mentally striving to do something that requires a complete surrender of the ego and, in a sense, the mind that governs it.
I’ve read somewhere that ‘the mind doesn’t work properly unless it’s open’, and from my experiences lately, I can say that this is absolutely true.
If we mentally strive to do something, we’ll find that it’s much harder and less enjoyable to do, whereas opening our minds and hearts and allowing whatever flows to simply and naturally express itself will make our jobs (and our lives in general) much easier.
After dealing with this difficult creative block that I didn’t think I could transcend, I decided to close my eyes and evoke my higher self. I sat back and expressed whatever came forth in a clear and flowing way, and to my surprise, the words and phrases started to flow pretty easily. The process became very enjoyable, and the whole thing actually felt better.
I’m sure other people who write articles, books, etc. have their own creative method, but personally, mine is to let my higher self take the wheel and release any judgment or expectation in regards to the words that result. I could let my higher self speak in my articles all day, but at a certain point, I’ll have to let him/her speak directly via the ‘Oversoul Teachings’ messages I publish almost every day.
Writing’s a lot of fun, but lately, I see that I’m not meant to solely be a writer. As much as I’ve grown to enjoy staring into the computer screen and painting it with my unique form of art, I recognize that it’s time to step aside in a sense and let my higher self/guides be responsible for not only the things I channel, but the things I write.
My material won’t change significantly from here on out – all that’ll change is the method I use to bring it to you. Writing in the traditional sense doesn’t seem to be working for me, and instead, I see that channeling truly is the best way for me to produce articles.
Other writers might feel different, and some might think the very idea of letting one’s ‘higher self’ speak through them is outlandish. Nevertheless, I see that it’s truly what I’m meant to do.
Letting my higher self speak through me is the best and most potent way to clear my mind and let the thoughts, feelings and expressions flow, and I’m excited to see what my oversoul will do with my articles from here on out.
You’ll still hear from me in a sense, but in reality, you’ll hear from a higher facet of my consciousness who’s probably been waiting and waiting to speak more directly – not only via my channelings, but my articles.
I’ll encourage everyone out there who experiences creative blocks to open up to a higher facet of your consciousness and release any mental tension or pressure you may feel to produce something ‘good’, because while quality’s important, it isn’t the sole reason we choose to be creative.
We choose to be creative so we can uplift the rest of humanity, because this is what we’re here to do. It’s time to spread our light by stepping aside and allowing our higher selves to take the creative wheel, and I think we’ll be very glad we did.
Our sense of enjoyment and wholeness will skyrocket when we take the blinders off of our creative flows, and we’ll inspire others to see that they too can open up to these higher aspects of themselves and produce flowing creative works, seemingly by magic.
I’m starting to think ‘magic’ as we define it is really the spiritual energy that’s helping us evolve, and we can access our inner magic and let it flow out to the rest of humanity, creating and strengthening a revolution of love and spiritual knowledge in the process.
It feels great to open up, and it feels even better to know that our opening allows us to produce things that help others tremendously. Love and service are two of the most important factors of our existence on earth, and with my higher self and guides by my side, I’m ready to start really serving humanity.
Here I am at the end of this article, and I’m experiencing a pretty great meditation as I write. Sure, I’ll probably find that some of the words I’ve typed are misspelled and practically mangled because I haven’t been looking at the screen, but that’s what editing’s for.
The realization that creativity can actually put us on a higher vibration is very liberating, and I highly recommend everyone out there find a creative route that fills them with joy and wholeness.
We have a lot to do to heal the surface of this once lost and broken planet, so let’s get to work and make sure we enjoy ourselves along the way. Enjoyment’s essential to doing anything we intend to uplift others with, so let’s joyfully pursue the creative work we’ve come to share with the rest of humanity.
A new day has dawned, and we can be a part of it if we simply open up and let love guide us in everything we do. Others will eventually discover the sacred, overflowing love we’re just starting to access, but they can only discover it if we strengthen it by feeding it as much as we can.
Hopefully, your creativity will help you do this as much as mine has helped me.
