Heavenletter #5053 Life Teaches You , September 25, 2014 https://heavenletters.org/life-teaches-you.html
God said:
Living on Earth helps you to be flexible. Change in weather helps you to be flexible. People help you to be flexible. What is the opposite of flexible? Adamant.
Of course, remember that everything in the relative world is relative. Whatever your natural proclivity, you learn determination, and you learn flexibility.
It certainly seems that life is hit or miss, yet there is a thread that runs through life that knows what it is doing. Flexibility can be described in many ways. It can be said that flexibility is living life without judgment.
“How, in the relative world,” you ask yourself, “How do I live without judgment? Am I to be only hit or miss? It would seem so. Even my judgment is hit or miss. It would seem that I float in life, landing here or landing there or not landing. I can only conclude that I am a will-o-the-wisp. Maybe I never touch ground. And, yet, God says that there is purpose in my life. Maybe I am meant to soar, yet it seems to me that I am holding on for dear life. I say that even as I don’t really know what I’m talking about.
“Is this the famous life without boundaries? Is there really nothing to hold onto? No wonder I have convictions. As little as I may consciously know anything, I seem to hold on to tightly even that which, on occasion, I can admit that I know nothing about at all.
“Sometimes I feel like a ball thrown up into the air, and I haven’t landed yet. God, I have to ask You: Is there a landing place? Do I ever land?”
I, God, answer you that where you are is in My arms of love. You are in My heart, and you are in My mind. In fact, you and I are One, and that may well be the hardest of all to grasp.
I also answer you, So what? So what if you are a wanderer? Be a wanderer then and ooh and aah over everything.
In terms of the relative world, perhaps you are a juggler who keeps many balls up in the air at once.
At the same time, you have learned, and you have grown. You know now that your life is not for you alone. Your life has a higher purpose than just living it as long as you can.
I know you long for purpose, and I am telling you that you do have purpose, and, willy-nilly, you are fulfilling your purpose. Hmm, is it your purpose or is it Mine? And what is the difference?
This is a bug-a-boo, this concept of Mine and thine as if We were cloven in two. If this one thought were reversed, it’s possible that you would turn your life on end. Perhaps then, you would stop fighting life. Perhaps then you would jump on and consciously live for all you are worth.
You have thought for so long that life is something to hold onto when, all the while, life is something to let go of. Let life be a horse that is not reined in. The horse pastures where he wills, and he finds good grass. This horse is enlivened each day. Even the same pasture is not hum-drum for a horse. Even having nothing the same makes no difference to a horse. He is alive today, and being alive is enough for him. It is just right with him that he is a horse and living life just as it appears before him.
And you, beloveds, you are the designer of your life as well as the claimer of your life. It is all just fine. And tomorrow it will be better.
You are life spontaneous, and you are also life emulated. There is no need for struggle. Life is to be lived, and, so, that’s what you do.
