The ripples from the apparent non-eventuation of 21/12/12 continue to be felt across the lightworker community.
Some are turning aside from channeled messages.
Some are re-assessing their roles after seeing that we’re not in the Fifth Dimension and therefore facing an unknown period of time continuing to make ends meet on the Third Dimension.
Others have been dissed by friends and relatives. People run the gamut of situations they face and all are working hard to get through them.
I personally have felt tossed about by one erupting vasana after another from dealing with the fallout and the situations that have come up for me and other people. I’ve been going through dismay, concern, helplessness, anger, one vasana after another exploding and needing to be sourced.
Meanwhile just as so many sources predicted that something marvellous would happen on 21/12/12, so they also now maintain that the major events of that day did occur. This huge outpouring of energy is the amazing thing that happened, they say. Gaia ascended as a result of it. And I believe them.
Matthew for one said:
“Except for the ‘doomsday’ concept followers, the general reaction of the rest of Earth’s population who gave any thought at all to the Mayan calendar was, I knew nothing out of the ordinary would happen.“
“Our beloved Earth family, something absolutely out of the ordinary did happen [on that day]! Everyone in your world would rejoice with us if they knew that the powerful energy that was anchored on Earth during the solstice illuminated many millions of souls. They include those who have no knowledge of Earth’s ascension or are in the ‘fence-straddler’ ranks or have been edging toward dark ways. Albeit unknowingly, all of them have intensified in the collective consciousness the desire and determination to right the wrongs in your world.
“You cannot see this from our perspective, of course, but you will be seeing the effects of that massive infusion of love-light energy. More than ever before, people around the world are deeply feeling compassion for those who are in shock and grief after mass or random shootings or are fighting and dying for freedom from tyranny or are homeless and hungry.” (1)
Hilarion put it about as well as anybody. We’re in the cocoon stage, he said.
“The air is alive with wonderment and magic. There is a pervading feeling of the anticipation of something wonderful coming. You have arrived at your destination and are now settling in. The changes within you and in your personal lives are occurring on the subtle levels of your Being rather than in dramatic shifting into a whole new reality. This is as it should be, in order that those you are traveling this adventure with have time to notice the difference and become aware that something profound has taken place.
“These changes are taking place continuously within each of you. There are rhythms and waves to the downloads of energies, so that assimilation can occur before the next onslaught. Become aware of the ebbs and flows of this process as they occur and it will help you to know when to expect the now familiar symptoms of activation and assimilation. …
“This process you are currently in is likened to the cocoon stage of the life cycle of the butterfly. A greater integration is taking place with the higher aspects of your Divinity and this will require the use of all your senses, most especially your intuitive faculties. You are learning to follow the inner promptings of your heart rather than listening to the incessant chatter of your mind which seeks to maintain control of its domain which has held you in bondage for millennia.” (2)
The air is not alive with wonderment and magic from my perspective, as Hilarion noted. I do feel courage and determination, though not magic – yet.
I don’t intend to lose hope. It’d be easy to jump ship and feel justified, even righteous, about it. The harder path is to stay the course.
However I did want to address one argument that’s being made. It’s being said that Ascension is primarily a matter of going inward and that therefore one should turn aside from channeled messages and an outward focus.
The basic spiritual movement is, in my view, to turn from the world to God, to discriminate between the Real and the unreal, to detach oneself from the unreal and attach or devote oneself to the Real. No doubt about that.
But I personally am not here for my personal Ascension.
Being a lightworker this lifetime, rather than a lightholder, I’m convinced that I’ve ascended in other lifetimes and I believe that I wear the blindfold to assist others, as do most of you. It’s true that I’ll go through my own personal Ascension as a starseed in order to model what it takes, as you will as well perhaps. But I’m here to serve others and not to serve myself this lifetime.
So the advice to turn inwards is good spiritual advice but it doesn’t match the role I’ve chosen this lifetime. I’ll remain looking outwards for the good of the whole.
Moreover as one who serves the celestials, galactics and ascended masters, who choose at this time to communicate through channeled messages, I choose to pay attention to them and their favored way of communicating (you need not).
And as a communicator of what’s happening in our world and a person who’s focused on helping Gaia to clean up her polluted state and restore the minerals that she needs and reforming society through such things as NESARA and Disclosure, I choose to keep my eye on world events for those reasons as well.
Moreover, karma yoga or selfless service is a path to God. Though the source of life resides in the heart, which is inwards, the way to God is not only by turning inwards. There are those like St. Clare and St. Francis who tended lepers, St. Therese (St. Clare in another lifetime) who tended the dying, or Mahatma Gandhi (St. Francis in another lifetime) who worked for independence for India. They were externally focused in their work.
Selfless service purifies the heart. Krishna said that it would be good to do selfless service in one’s early life. It quiets the mind by loosening the attachments and offers one tranquillity later.
Let him who would climb
In meditation
To heights of the highest
Union with Brahman [God]
Take for his path
The yoga of action:
Then when he nears
That height of oneness
His acts will fall from him,
His path will be tranquil. (3)
In another place, he tells us that the followers of knowledge (jnana) or of action (selfless service or karma yoga) meet at the end.
The wise see knowledge and action as one:
They see truly.
Take either path
And tread it to the end:
The end is the same.
There the followers of action
Meet the seekers after knowledge
In equal freedom. (4)
All genuine paths lead to God, karma yoga as well as wisdom as well as meditation. So I personally don’t regard the advice that we turn aside from channeled messages and go inward as being relevant to the work I’ve agreed to do in this lifetime.
