Monty exists on the other side. I haven’t any idea where – Higher Summerlands, sounds like. That would be the Fourth Dimension, Higher Astral Planes. He’s at the same level as Dr. John Mack, the contactee psychiatrist, and so they hang out together.

John Mack is looking into ancient history. He could actually read books (they’re much more than just “books” as we understand them, really) and visit museums where either he would have the true story written up by actors in events or else be able to travel back through time by various means and watch events.
Only the fact that we don’t generally believe postmortem accounts prevents us from knowing about them too. But that will soon change.
But the really interesting tidbit is that Monty had a friend come visit him on the other side and the friend is unpleasantly surprised that, when he transitioned, he went to a level a lot more modest than he thought he would attain. Monty tut-tuts the man. Speak of gossip!
