I hardly listen to campaign speeches, but I’m glad I listened to this one. It was, at every turn, just what one might want to hear: Acknowledgement of firefighters’ concerns, specific policies, promises made, spoken from such a grounded place that it reawakened memories of the last time honest politics were practised, which for me was with JFK. (1)
J.D. Vance did not pick safe territory when he addressed the International Association of Firefighters Convention in Boston yesterday. One might think it would be, after the assassination attempt and the death of fireman Corey Comperatore. But Vance’s audience contained many Democrats.
I have to say, I am so impressed with what he had to say, I wept at times. For me, who loved the Kennedy brothers, it was a pleasure listening to someone who truly made sense on important questions.
I loved his integrity, clarity, resolve, and groundedness.
I still don’t think people have assimilated that it was automation that undercut America – automation applied in the full knowledge that it would deeply disadvantage the workers’ position. JD for instance noted the problem of the workers’ position but didn’t name the chief reason for it. Or not what it was in my view. (2)
It matters in the way we approach the problem but G/NESARA will make the problem disappear anyways by providing for everyone. (3)
That having been said, here’s a wonderful campaign-speech performance by a man I’d never heard of a few months ago that I’m becoming more and more impressed with.

(1) I fell deeply for Barack Obama and hoped he would be “the one.” But all the evidence seems to point to him being deeply involved with the deep state.
(2) Yes, shipping the remaining jobs overseas did not help.
