During a Near Death Experience back in 1974 I was given certain insights into the nature of the Universe and the human condition. I was given an answer to a question, if the Divine knows all, what, exactly, are we doing down here? The reply was quite profound, the Divine knows all but has not experienced all and each of us is the conduit of this experience. I was also given a most enlightening maxim, which I understood immediately and is really the secret of the Universe, “There is only one of us”. So, how does that work? Science tells us the universe is all energy, even matter based on the formula, all together now, E=Mc2. So what if this energy was conscious and that we are the individuation of this universal energy? We now have some indications of this. I have a program that is able to detect the energy field around people. One aspect we found was this field does not appear to have an edge or limit, which suggests there isn’t one which further suggests it is disseminated throughout the Universe. So it seems our consciousness is not a function of the brain but our energy field. There is our connection with the Divine and how it is experiencing everything we all do and say.

I have no personal commentary on NDE because I have no experience of it.
I appreciate how the accounts I’ve read have certain similarities and I am quite sure that the sense of oneness undergirds these experiences whether or not people realize it. You articulated it very well.
