I invite you to muse with me, if you choose to. Yesterday, July 7th or 7/7 was the Master Portal. Coming up in August is the Lions Gate Portal on August 8th, or 8/8. It is my understanding that each month has one, 1/1, 2/2, etc and so on. But this all got me thinking… Where did they come from? I mean, civilization currently, mostly, uses the Gregorian calendar since the late 1500’s. Before that it was the Julian calendar back to about 45bc, which replaced the Roman Calendar… So many calendars used by different groups and cultures over the eons.
So, did these Astrology portals come about after Pope Gregory decided the calendar in use needed to change? Were people observing these under a different name while the Julian calendar was in use? As I grow and evolve in my life, what I learn just leaves me with more questions and unknowns. I love a good mystery!
Thanks, Thomas. I’ve never thought much about date portals and have only noticed them when I see something posted (usually on GAoG if it’s a biggie).
Maybe someone versed in astrology can chime in. I’ve no clue but I’m sure someone does!
