This last weekend I spent at a music festival, with bands playing and people partying into the night. The combination of these surroundings and the powerful Lion’s Gate portal gave me some important insights on alcohol.
Those I had met earlier in the day seemed to turn into different people once under the influence. They seemed further separated the more intoxicated they became. Collectively they became increasingly difficult to be in the presence of, their low vibration and energetic heaviness weighing me down.
Then it struck me, they were losing contact with their soul. Their eyes which would normally provide that window were instead blank, empty, devoid. The blackout experienced by some is caused by the body becoming so poisonous that the soul has to evacuate until it is safe to return. The people in this state are for the time rendered soulless, autonomous human animals.
It seems the way some act out under the influence is their soul crying out for help. For once it is separated from the body dark astral beings can easily come in. Alcoholism is one of the manifestations of these dark energy attachments. The same is true of many addictions, chronic ailments, and pains.
I feel I now need to begin to bring awareness to these, (to many unseen) dangers of alcohol.

Hi Michael,
I never tolerated alcohol. Even a small quantity would make me feel “separated” from myself, and I did not like that effect. What you describe is what I felt for myself, and what I see in others too when they have more than one or two drinks. Alcohol is toxic, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It weakens the human energy and makes it vulnerable to lower influences, including one’s own impulses and also strong emotions coming from unresolved inner conflicts. Drugs have also these same effects, and are more prone still to crack open the energy field to not-so-kind non-physical beings interventions.
Rather than using alcohol as a numbing agent, so they can have some fun, it is better to cleanse our emotional body and integrate our shadow side. Then, we can feel present and whole, and the need to intoxicate oneself is not present anymore. Healing ourselves, with self-kindness and self-compassion, does not lead to a temporary, low-grade party joy followed by a huge backlash, but leads to genuine, lasting joy.
