In My Opinion….
What follows is just my opinion, but allow me to say that once and not repeat myself on the matter.
I’m watching President Obama at a news conference on the budget and the same budget deception that goes on endlessly in Congress, in the news, and every other forum is going on here.
Typically one side of the debate is identified as the “spenders” and the other side as the “cutters.” The first questioner to arise and address the President identified himself as a cutter and asked the President how he could call himself frugal if he hasn’t cut social security and medicaid. Significantly he went on to ask how the President was balancing the desire to promote freedom in the Middle East with national-security issues. (I’ll come to its significance in a moment.)
The problem is that the “cutters” are seldom only cutters and the “spenders” are seldom only spenders. Both sides cut and both sides spend, but they seldom acknowledge that this is so.
The same ones who would cut social-security spending and medicaid want to spend on “national security.” They want less butter and more guns. Now keep in mind that, in the future, the guns of war will go silent. Keep in mind that there is no “war on terror,” save what Western governments pretend there is based on their having created the “terror” themselves.
That is, Western governments created the 9/11 attacks and blamed it on Muslim terrorists. They then created the notion that there needed to be a “war on terror,” when they themselves were the terrorists. So there is no war on terror save what we ourselves created.
The war on terror has meant huge profits for the war industry, which was one of its prime objectives. Matthew, SaLuSa, Hatonn, and the others we follow here have told us repeatedly that 9/11 was an inside job, (1) won’t be allowed to be repeated, (2) and is not something we need to consider again in our future.
The President’s first questioner asked him why he wasn’t cutting more social security and medicaid expenses and how his Middle East policy paid attention to “national security” measures.
The “national security” point of view is the “war on terror” point of view and is based on a view of things that is skewed. If the CIA, FBI, NSA, and other alphabet agencies ceased producing mind-controlled Manchurian candidates, loading them onto airplanes, etc., and ceased all other activities which maintain “terror” and thus justify a “war on terror,” we would have no terrorists and no war on terror. So the viewpoint that asks what we are doing about “national security” is tied in to this whole false view of things in the world.
These people identify themselves as the “cutters.”
They identify the other side as the “spenders.” The cutters would have as little money as possible go to social security and medicaid but as much money as possible go to our militaries and the militaries of other countries that then buy our war machines and materials. And this is the way that money is transferred from the people to the military-industrial complex.
Those whom they identify as the “spenders,” if the truth were known, would see as little money as possible go to what is essentially a charade and has no future in this world and as much as possible go to programs that promise social benefit, rather than elite benefit.
This argument is often called the guns or butter argument. If we spend more money on guns, we have less money to spend on butter and vice versa.
We know that, in our future, the truth will be known about 9/11, the war on terror, and the bogus national-security issue. We know that the guns of war will fall silent. We know that nuclear weapons cannot be at present exploded on, above, or below the Earth. So it isn’t as if the debate has an open outcome. It’s outcome has already been decided and it isn’t in favor of the so-called “cutters” – the national-security crowd, the engineers of 9/11, the military-industrial complex.
It is in favor of the so-called “spenders” – the social-security and medicaid crowd, the proponents of peace in the Middle East and the world, the people who will eventually bring out the truth of 9/11 and of all else that has been happening in our world and covered up by the cabal behind the military-industrial complex and its national-security state.
In the meantime I watch the phony war going on between the “cutters” and the “spenders” and wonder when we ever will wake up to what is happening. Inevitably we will but it could not be soon enough for me.
