How the Law of Free Will Operates

Can we lose our free will?

Jesus through John Smallman: You always have free will. It can never be taken from you.

However, to reclaim it demands honesty and integrity, and doing so demonstrates that you have been corrupted, so that your image is severely tarnished, and it is likely that you will never again be trusted.

To come clean and apologize is both extremely painful and absolutely essential if you are to regain your self-esteem.

In order to do so you have to acknowledge that the ordinary world of commerce and politics is illusory and utterly corrupt, and then move away from it.

To do so is painful because those whom you considered your friends and associates for many years will disown and disparage you.

It demands courage at a level that you have never had to call on before – it is terrifying. It is the edge of the abyss and you have to jump. (JES)

Can you discuss how our attitude towards our children is impacted by the law of free will?

SaLuSa: You cannot “own” another soul, which is a free spirit to experience as it chooses. When two souls decide to procreate, the soul that takes their physical creation has chosen them as its parents. That is indeed a soul to be dearly loved and guided through its childhood, and allowed where possible to follow its preferred life plan.

As parents have often found, a soul has a powerful urge to follow its instincts and has definite views as to where its future lies. Be proud of such a soul and know you have been chosen because you have something of value to give each other. (SAL 2010 2)

Where does personal responsibility fit?

SaLuSa: Your progress is in your own hands but as we often remind you, the pathway you chose is one that you have decided upon. That is in accordance with the freewill you have been granted. You are not restricted in your choices. (SAL 2010 1)

Jesus through John Smallman: Every human is a beloved child of God, One with each other and with God, and each one is coming into a realization of this Truth – the divine and eternal Truth – that you are, each individual one of you, utterly and personally responsible for your beliefs and behaviors.

You cannot, I repeat, CANNOT, blame your superiors or the orders that they give you for what you do! What you think, say, or do is your own personal responsibility – no one else’s – just yours. And daily more and more humans are awakening into the realization of this holy Truth. …

You have always had free will, but, within the illusion where you have taken form as individual humans, seemingly totally separated from one another, you have accepted the illusion as a real state comprised of levels of authority to which you have to submit. (JES.)

We often feel victimized but you’re saying we’re not?

SaLuSa: Your freewill has operated all through your experiences. (SAL 2010 3.)

SaLuSa: None of you are the victims of your circumstances. Whatever experiences you go through they are by choice, going right back to the time you allowed yourselves to drop into the lower vibrations.

It is all in aid of your spiritual evolution, and although duality may strike you as extreme, it is the quickest way that you can progress. (SAL 2009 1)

Of course there are amongst you people who have been wronged as you would interpret it, and do consider themselves “victims”. However, this is all by arrangement and you are a willing partner to the karma being played out. No matter how severe the circumstances, the fact remains that you were aware of your agreed life plan before you incarnated on Earth.

Many will argue against it, convinced that they could not have agreed to suffer or indeed see others suffer. Be assured that when you pass over and return to the astral planes, you will clearly understand all facets of your life. You will review your life, and this can be a sobering time when you find out how well you have done where your life plan was concerned. (SAL 2009 1)

Some people even feel that God victimizes us. They question why God lets abhorrent conflicts continue. Why don’t the archangels and their colleagues end all such situations? they ask.

Archangel Michael: We will not interfere with human freewill. (AAM 2012)

Matthew Ward: Neither God nor any soul in physical or spirit worlds is permitted to interfere with anyone’s use of free will.

Dear ones, this is with sound reason. Interference would deny countless souls the karmic experiencing they chose so they can evolve, and evolvement is the goal of every soul in every lifetime.

What God and all of His emissaries are permitted to do is send all souls love-light, the most powerful force in the cosmos, to open hearts and minds, give solace to the grieving, courage to the faltering, hope to the struggling, momentum to the newly awakened. Spiritually evolved beings continuously beam light throughout this universe and God’s infinite love for each and every soul is everlasting. (MW 2016)

SaLuSa: Earth therefore must have asked for help from more advanced civilizations.

It is only in recent times, that you have made a powerful call for help from us, and that has given us permission to respond. Without such a plea it would otherwise have been seen as interfering with your freewill. (SAL 2010 2)

Matthew Ward: More than half a century past, Earth’s soul cried out for help so her planetary body would not perish, and it is her free will to survive that God is honoring through the cooperation of light beings within, on and beyond the planet. (MW 2004 2)

Matthew Ward: Only if a soul requests help may another civilization provide it. Earth herself asked and is receiving accordingly.

With or without each and all of you, she is rising into the promised era. The innocence of her animal souls automatically lets them journey with her, but your free will gives you the choice.

What is immensely heartening to us is that in each moment more souls are using their free will to accept the truth of their godselves, thereby generating light and adding it to the light of others on Earth and to that beamed there by your benevolent universal family. (MW 2004 1)

Is anything cast in stone?

Matthew Ward: Nothing is cast in stone. For an absolute predestined “future,” as it were, it would mean that Creator’s law of free will would have to abruptly and completely cease throughout the universe, and never will this happen!

Without that freedom of choice, there would be no opportunity for growth – every lifetime would be within the patterns set by cumulative experiencing to that point. Souls who had achieved control over others would retain it through their patterning and the patterning of those oppressed would perpetuate their status.

So why continue life at all if it is only identical experiencing ad infinitum? In short, change is necessary and therefore inevitable, and free will is the driving force that offers renewal of purpose and meaning to each life. Furthermore, the cosmos is not static for a nanosecond, so stagnation cannot exist within its laws. (MW 2005)

Have you any thoughts for us in closing?

Matthew Ward: The free will choices of all who live in Earth’s Golden Age will be in the light because no darkness can exist in those high vibrations. (MW 2011)

SaLuSa: Hold fast to your beliefs, but be ever aware of the opportunity to take a positive step forward. Let no one force their beliefs upon you, particularly if their way is fear-based. (SAL 2010 2.)
