Benevolence, n.
- An inclination to perform kind, charitable acts.
- A kindly act.
- A gift given out of generosity.
Benevolence = Loving plus sharing, giving, being kind, extending oneself.
Synonyms = Charitable, generous, kind, gracious, loving, compassionate.
“Benevolence” is an attitude. It’s stored in memory among all our other attitudes and influences how we respond to life.
In the case of benevolence, our response is compassionate, kind, and helpful. We usually gift money, objects, or a service to another in need. This is not limited to a gift to a relative or friend. If it’s benevolence, then it includes gifts to strangers. And not loans. Not for any profit. The benevolent person gives freely and without condition.
We all watched Ebenezer Scrooge transform from a tight-fisted old bat into a fountain of benevolence in A Christmas Carol. We all know someone benevolent among our friends and we have our various judgments about it.
I strive to be benevolent, following in the footsteps of my brother Paul and sister-in-law Fran. My reward is instantaneous because the act of giving and the act of sending love from the heart occur simultaneously. I get to experience love flowing through me and out to the other person. Michael described this movement:
Archangel Michael: Love is the energy of the universe. It is the energy of the Mother. And it moves constantly, continually, eternally, infinitely. So, to have an experience of love, it [must move] through you. (1)
All of us will have a chance to experience the love he’s talking about when the Wave of Love hits. More and more people are talking about it, which I hope means something. As Matthew said of it:
Matthew: A tsunami of [lovelight’s] high vibrations is the means whereby violence will be ended. (2)
We all want the end of violence and Matthew says, it could be in sight.
As I’ve said before, it will be a delivering angel to the honest and decent and the grim reaper to the evil and vicious.
There will be a moral shift on Earth after that towards love and inclusiveness. Benevolence will be a much-appreciated attitude then, whereas this generation is being fed films in which they focus on blowing everything up. Not very benevolent.
Something that the dark is at this moment doing with their manmade tornadoes and hurricanes, their suppressed cures and killer vaccines.
