Divine Mother: The standalone truth is love.
I’ve said that I considered the divine qualities to be spiritual universals and I gave three reasons why: (A) they are universally familiar; (B) whether welcome or not, they were still universally respected; and (C) they’re seen to live inside all of us, universally – specifically, in the spiritual heart, beyond its closed door, the hridayam. (1)
I also said there that the heart is a portal. Yes, the kundalini is in the Third Dimension mounting a Third-Dimensional sushumna canal, so to speak.
BUT once we’re inside the heart, in whatever body we’re in, we’re in a higher dimension. I found myself, according to Michael, in the Seventh Dimension of Love, the Christ Sphere, as it’s known. (2) The love that exists there I never stop rambling on and on about. I don’t even want to suppress myself.
The real life, therefore, is inward; specifically, in the heart, through the portal to the higher realms.
But the reason I came in here was to look at a cultural universal, whatever that might be. I talk about “cross-cultural spirituality.” What is the cultural component?
What is a culture? What did historian S.M. Beckow say?
Culture, whether considered as a continuum or a class of phenomena, consists of ideas, manifest in act and artifact, though consisting of neither, by means of which humanity takes account of its world and takes purposeful action. (3)
My point back then was that culture is neither behavior nor artifacts. Culture must be transmissible to survive. And only ideas can be transmitted, via language, images, music, etc. You may not know this, but this was a radical statement in the cultural-historical circles of the time. They mostly held that culture was acts and artifacts and I disagreed. Half the room liked it and half the room didn’t. The half that didn’t controlled the cultural journals.
I have to add that I was talking to an audience who, with the mere mention of Archangel Michael, would have locked me up, so to speak. In the end I had to choose between university and enlightenment. I chose enlightenment.
***
Symbols. Ideas. I’d take it further now that I’m not in danger of being run out of town or burned at the stake, metaphorically speaking.
Yes, culture consists of symbols or ideas – please allow me to follow the thought – but culture is an element of a physical world, where ideas communicated through language are all we have and all we give credence to.
If we were on a higher dimension, we’d communicate telepathically. And everyone would be immersed in such an uplifting love that our conversation would resemble a symphony rather than … well, our conversations.
There wouldn’t be all the stress and strain. We’d materialize whatever we needed. And we could travel wherever we wanted, in a flash – or just tune in. This Third/Fourth Dimension is the only one where there are such things as lack and loss, shame and sorrow.
Ideas are what we bought and sold back then. Not emotions. And ideas unto themselves don’t have a lot of vitality, a lot of juice in them. I compare digesting ideas to eating dry oatmeal.
After a three-month experiential workshop at Cold Mountain Institute in 1975-6, I was thoroughly introduced to the experiential domain.
The experiential depths of our heart/mind are like adding milk, heating up the oatmeal, adding blueberries, cashews, honey… well, you get my drift.
Beyond that is the realizational level and all is immediately forgotten in the sublimity of the love that flows like a river on the higher planes.
The cultural, at the best of times, in my experience, does not seem strong enough to boost us into the love of the higher dimensions. On occasion, an idea might, yes.
But experience, in my humble opinion, carries us much further.
My heart opening had its emotional content, as well as the fact that I asked for it and had cleared the space for it. (4) Ask and ye shall receive. Knock and the door (the hridayam, the heart’s door) shall be opened.
The emotional content had me knocking on the door. Help! Michael said he would not allow me to sink that low again. (5) But, regardless, there’s still vitality in all this, emotional movement, the rise and fall of love. It’s a step above the intellectual – and I’m an intellectual.
So to summarize, the idea (or symbol) is the cultural universal as the cell is the biological universal. However, the cultural level itself, in my experience, is not powerful enough to launch us into genuine evolution, such as is being called out of us by the needs of the times and the tug of our soul contracts.
This generation has been blessed with (channeled) message after message from the Company of Heaven, just waiting for us to wake up to their presence and their desire to work with us. (6) The wisest voices when I was a young adult were still not able to describe the enlightenment mechanism in any kind of detail.
But this generation has heard Michael and the Mother and Jesus and Sanat, et al, tell us the entire program.
So I’m rivetted by the spiritual and not as much by the cultural, which is more of a curio now. I’m geared to meeting with our star family not too long from now and, when I do, I believe that any lingering fascination with the cultural will magically disappear.
