A spectrum – this one of awareness
From May 11, 2025
Allow me, if you would, to meander through some observations as they arise. Loosely connected, I hope.
We’ve been discussing “entrainment.”
I’m pretty sure that for entrainment (or perhaps unity or cohesion may be better words) to occur, people would need to be predominantly in the same place on the most important questions: examples, we’re living by the Constitution and its amendments, America is a predominantly-Christian nation, it chooses to speak the English language, it serves the cause of freedom around the world.
There could be variance but if there were unsustainable disagreement over what is seen as really basic, there would be no basis for cohesion and I think that would result in a failure to realize America’s potential. If they were an individual, I’d say “a failure to complete their mission.”

These thoughts arise because I happen to be looking this moment at a flock of geese flying from Stanley Park northwest of me to the southern shore of Kitsilano. I’m looking out at all my favorite places.
Sometimes the geese flap their wings; sometimes they coast. Sometimes a few birds begin to leave the flock but the flock ignores them and flies on. Usually the departing birds return.
But occasionally a very strong and determined few break off and head in a different direction and the flock wheels and follows them.
Any flock, I’m saying, will have a spectrum of behavior deemed admirable, acceptable, worthy of imitation – and not. Again in my view, most of us, much of the time, seem to be calibrating and adjusting our behavior so that we remain in the “safe” zone on that spectrum. We follow the flock on most things; we conform; whether doing so is positive or negative for us, gain or loss, done in awareness or outside of it.
We may, as lightworkers, locate ourselves on the leading edge, in the center, or in the rear of the flock. In lightworker parlance, these three roles are wayshower/pathfinder (front), gatekeeper (middle), and pillar (rear). I’m a pillar, apparently, which means I’m here till the end. (1)

Footnotes
(1) Archangel Michael: I remind you that you are a pillar, that you [are] not [to] venture too far ahead of where people are, both individually in terms of your smaller circle but also in terms of the collective. …
A very large quotient, shall we say, of you is living … in the higher-dimensional realm. Then there is a part of you that is in the morass of the chaos and the lower-dimensional realm because that’s where the work is. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Jan. 18, 2020.) (Hereafter AAM.)
AAM: Think of a pillar as being the pillar of enlightenment, beaming into the marauding hordes, so that you are the rearguard but you are the rearguard not only as holding space, but think of it as no one gets past you. No one is behind you. They can’t escape. (AAM, July 11, 2014.)
