It isn’t that love is the end all and be all. And yet, paradoxically, it is everything.
The end-all and be-all, in my estimation, arrives when the individual surrenders its individuality to the One.
And the One meets the One. That’s an act in knowing, Truth. Love leads us to the Truth but the last act is one of recognition, realization, knowing.
It’s as if Love says to us, “Behold, the Beloved.” And we recognize the One and that we are that One. And the drama of our individuated life is over.
Well, that was my understanding and that of classical-enlightenment knowers and scholars. But the truth turns out to be a little different.
I still go on, you still go on – apparently, according to the Divine Mother, who ought to know – after reunion or mergence:
Steve: Mother, you’ve just referred to mergence have you not, or union? And you’re saying that after they return in union, they go back out into the world. Is that correct?
Divine Mother: Yes. If they so choose, yes. Now, is it in the timeline that human beings tend to think of? No. But eventually there is re-emergence. (1)
Classical enlightenment theory casts union as the end of the road. Indeed it’s more a burnishing of the metal (mettle?), as Michael and I discussed on An Hour with an Angel:
Steve: That [your view of evolution] just turns our contemporary thinking on its head! …
Archangel Michael: And when you go home, and you can reunite in the Heart of of One, do not think that you go off on another tangent…. You go back out into the universe as a brilliant spark of pure light!
So you come, you return, you gain not only understanding, wisdom, knowledge – what you can think of as spiritual regeneration – and then, in concert with many, including your guides and guardian angels and, many times, whoever you are going to be working with – for example, myself or Archangel Raphael – you emerge again. (2)
This is just one paradigm-busting revelation we’re going to hear once our star family joins the conversation and things really pick up speed.
