Character armor
I think I should keep a diary at this time because what has happened has opened a door and, if others are going to find it and walk through it, I need to be as detailed about the event and its aftermath as possible.
Written earlier than “Which Switch is ‘On’?”
I feel a pressing need to make sure that everyone understands the difference between having one’s character armor (the phrase is I believe Wilhelm Reich’s) drop away and an enlightenment experience.
An enlightenment experience usually leaves us immersed in love. Emerging from one’s character armor leaves us feeling normal.
The first is an elevation, however temporary. The second is a clearing of the decks and reporting for duty.
Seekers of enlightenment will call their advance in enlightenment progress. Servants, or followers of the path of seva, service, or karma yoga, would or might want to guard against abandoning their soul contract by saturating themselves in bliss.
As Michael once said to me:
Archangel Michael: When you use the term ‘dramatic enlightenment experiences,’ you are talking about Nirvana. You are talking about the unity of all with One.
It is not to say that you will not experience it, but you cannot ― well, you can if you wish; if it is your choice – simply remain in that state of unity, of Oneness. You cannot be fully conscious and in service, in action, if that is where you are. (1)
We’ve agreed to be waiters at the banquet of Ascension; apparently, our meal comes later.
I think of this as the major reason why I think emergence a better path for lightworkers: it leaves us feeling normal but having broken through our constraints. We’re more capable of being leaders because we’re not still working out our issues with others.
And what peace lies in just feeling normal! I keep forgetting to value it for its own sake. Who would have guessed?
