The other day I was listening to a fellow carry on about his intel from a source that I considered old news.
It was not old news to this gentleman as he was just figuring out what many of us dealt with earlier. Many when Co-vid hit.
No judgment here, as he is walking the path many of us have already traversed just for that very reason.
To blaze a trail for others to follow.
But it did stir my thoughts about who I am listening to and for what reasons.
I decided to create a list and see who I thought was credible for me at this time.
Needless to say many have fallen to the wayside but my list still consists largely of Astrologers, tarot card readers and channelers.
No surprise there.
I was pleased to find the mix included at least one news feed and one news podcaster.
My sources felt like a good 360 coverage that allows me different perspectives.
Ultimately I had to put myself at the top of the go to list.
Every morning and often throughout the day I go within to find my next step.
I have friends that muscle test every decision they make, from driving directions to what they eat.
It works well for them. I am not that structured.
My inner compass allows me a natural effortless process. It is more of an in-breath, make a decision, out-breath process.
Sometimes I get flummoxed enough by a situation that I need to go sit in my chair and have a good think tank.
More often than not I move to a rhythm that my guides have no issue with and the day and week flow smoothly.
Admittedly, other days I can walk directly into a wall and am left to wonder where that came from.
Outside of myself, I will pull tarot cards or check my astrological chart in reference to the planets.
I check the markets as a global gauge, but keeping my check book in balance is not anything I have ever really done.
I do check my account balances but usually I just know where my finances are at without consulting the register.
(This may be an important skill for folks as debit cards tend to drain a bank account faster than when one has to actually write a paper check.)
The point is that taking responsibility for your actions is your job. It should not be reliant on external controls.
Personal aspects of living do benefit when we monitor the world at large in order to maintain how we function within the organism of the matrix.
As we shift, we affect the world and as the world shifts it affects us.
There really is no separation.
Where we put our attention gets the most energetic boost.
This current redirection of energy needs to be toward the world in which we want to live.
As we do that we starve the energy sucking parasites that no longer serve our highest good.
What are those parasitical areas ?
I thought the answer to this could be found if I could list the places where I am no longer putting my energy.
What am I choosing to not listen to?
I am going to be contradictory here for a moment and give attention to a list of entities that I have given little or no attention to for quite some time.
Here is my list of uncredibles.
1) Politicians
Who are these people? And why do they think they don’t need to represent us? Rhetorical
2} Newscasters/ Mainstream anchors
Nothing more than propaganda. TV news hasn’t been part of my life for almost 30 years. Not sure what its good for anymore. Maybe hurricane warnings.
3}Bankers and Market Investors
They claim to be in charge of our money. They don’t actually think that. One branch manager scoffed at me and said it wasn’t my money. Needless to say I closed my account.
4} IRS and Federal Reserve
Deadman walking. ’nuff said
5} Utility companies
It’s fascinating how corruption is found at every level. Smart meters to damming the rivers that block salmon runs. There is very little here that I have ever agreed with. I opted out of having a smart meter installed. Now they charge me extra for that.
6} Hollywood and Theater Movies
Can we get a decent movie people? Even Avatar is bloody and fearful. I like going to the movies or at least I used to. Entertainment is important to give us a moment to escape from our troubles. Outside of a handful of films everything seems to be centered around horror. No thank you.
7} Television
Maybe it’s just me. Even if I do find something to watch, I am prepared for the programming and the lies. What I am looking for when turning on the TV is disclosure. And actually it’s everywhere, so thanks for that.
8) Advertisements and Marketing
I think maybe this is a candidate for number one. UGH! its everywhere, invading our privacy. Stealing our data, bombing our phones, manipulating us at every level. I never watch the interruptions or buy the products anyway. I do empathize a bit as a retailer wanting to connect with consumers. But there is a thing called Too Much.
9) Telemarketers, cold calls and Robo calls
These people got singled out in this list. Incredibly annoying. I am so perplexed and can only ask Why ? Is there really some level of success with this? I am the queen of blocking numbers. It doesn’t help. They just reroute and dial from a different number. What level of insanity is this? I blocked you ten times, now I will say yes? foolishness
10) Medical experts, Doctors and Big Pharma
I am not in high need of medical care. Thank goodness. But for those that are, I can only imagine the level of discernment that is necessary to navigate these archaic waters. Being the CEO of your own health care is paramount.
I am sure if I keep looking there would be more to add to this list.
As an exercise, creating this list helped me realize where I would like to see change happen.
Looking at the list it would seem change needs to happen at every level of our world.
We have a long way to go.
Having awareness of what you would like to change will help guide that change.
It is time to find a healthier way of being. A level of existence that is centered in love, joy and positive exchange.
I, for one, have turned my back on the lies, control and manipulation.
That doesn’t mean I can avoid it altogether.
Now, I am seemingly going to contradict myself again.
It doesn’t mean that ignoring issues will help provide the changes that are necessary.
If we can flood the issues with positive intentions maybe transformation will occur at a pace quicker than we could have imagined just a short time ago.
Back up those intentions with direct action.
Perhaps by voting, writing reviews or filing complaints we can actually make a difference and spear head some change.
Certainly by choosing where you shop and supporting local healthy food sources has made a difference in our health, in our communities and in our awareness at large.
Just by choosing less sugar has led to a whole industry of adjustment.
More than ever we are finding products that are aligned with our ideals.
Greater options have been spurned by public demand.
We are gaining ground. Now is not the time to take our foot off the collective ‘gas pedal’.
Honestly the momentum is building and we have a more powerful voice than ever before.
All because of the wayshowers that have gone before us.
Focus on what change you want to see.
Find the place that change needs to happen.
Check yourself to see how you can participate.
Let’s make it so.
