The former Prince Andrew has been arrested as a result of the information released in the Epstein files. I mention it in “The World.”

I don’t want to contribute to trying Andrew (or anyone else) by the press.  Investigative journalism, yes, But, once they’ve been arrested and until judgment is rendered, no, except to report court proceedings. Straightforwardly.

Given that I’ve sat in judgment of refugee claims, I know that as a journalist I’m not meant to be a substitute for the justice system. (1)

Of the blogs covering current affairs from a reformist (we’re not “conservatives”) standpoint, I recommend Gateway Pundit.

AMG News and Gazetteller are next, and equally informative, but both seem a tad less independent. Nonetheless, their analyses are very helpful.

I think almost any journal today will have full coverage, wouldn’t you think? The MSM could ignore it, you say? What a concept.

In the ten days of broadcasts, we’ll hear a complete exposé of the dark careers of some European royalty. You can jet ahead and watch Janet Ossebaard on the subject. (2) I regard her as the best of investigative video journalists.

Most coverage, I suspect, won’t be as kind (that is, simply factual) as Janet. She observes the “Geneva Convention” of investigative journalism – no sensationalism, no jingoism (excessive patriotism bordering on mass hysteria), and no self-serving reporting (no fake news).

Lots of factually-based humor and irony, yes. I think it helps the medicine go down.
