I agree with Wajahat Ali. We’re committing the error of painting a whole group with the same brush for the actions of extremists within their midst.

It’ll be hard to retain the knowledge that, even though these people claim to speak for Islam, in my view, they do not. If they do, then I’ll watch to see if they survive the Wave of Love. If they are preaching hatred, I don’t think they will survive it.
