The title pretty much says it all, and Skye starts her intel portion at around 5 minutes in. I have to comment here that she goes on about her “Just Do It” campaign, as in, “Hey, I’m running a horse rescue without the RV, and you can implement your dreams, too.” It’s a lovely message, except when she takes a no excuses position about it.
Yes, it’s true that when we adopt the belief that we can’t do something, it pretty much seals that in stone…unless other powers are in play that ensure a different outcome. However, sometimes we actually can’t do a thing, but she makes no distinction. It may feel kind of harsh, what she says, to anyone who already is experiencing a little self-loathing about dreams unfulfilled.
Maybe it’s trauma speaking here. I admit that. The thing is that sometimes, life has other plans for us…
