I’ve talked enough about the actual heart opening. (1) It’s life before that I’m wanting to remember today.
There was always this fear that I wouldn’t “get” love. To make sure I got it, I married.
Not a wise decision for a committed, hermit writer, who needs solitude, no interruptions, and control over the direction of his life.
I lived in fear. I wasn’t even aware of it because it was so ubiquitous. People were like gas stations. What they dispensed was love. And I wanted to guarantee my supply.
OK, OK, stop the cameras.
THAT ISN’T REALLY HOW IT IS
And I can’t sit quietly watching so many people suffer any more, chasing love when the treasure is right there, inside them.
For the most part, where we get love from is from our very own hearts.
OK, roll the cameras again.
