Through tears into resolve… through silence into light…
We pause together and breathe… we feel the weight of this time…
A life taken on a train. A voice struck down beneath a canopy while truth was spoken. Innocence torn from the soul of our time in an instant. These moments are not distant. They are here in the air we breathe. They move through the heaviness of our hearts right now.
We stay here… now, together…
We let the grief move through us. This is the ground of what comes next. Every tear carries memory forward. Every pulse of sorrow becomes a field binding us as one. We all feel it… the soul of our time carries our grief as strands of light into the future.
In this stillness our faith steadies us… it is a current that does not break. Our resolve rises. It builds quietly in our choice to keep standing, to keep speaking, to keep living awake. This too is the soul of our time, not only the wound of its loss but the strength that grows in its silence.
The light flickers among us. It has not gone. It glows in every heart that refuses to bow to darkness. It gathers when we stand in presence. It spreads as we lift our eyes to the canopy, where truth once rang out and innocence was pierced, and as we remember the train, where life was torn away yet spirit still moves. Under that canopy we carry the light forward. Along that train of sorrow the soul of our time still breathes, reminding us that even what was struck down rises again through us.
The promise of tomorrow is written in us right now. It is shaped by what we allow ourselves to feel. In grief, in unity, in faith, in resolve, the future takes form. The soul of our time speaks through us as we walk it forward.
Truth cannot be killed. It multiplies. It flows through us. It rises in our silence after tragedy. It rises in our courage to keep going. It rises in the canopy of light that covers us now.
What rises now is the soul of our time, carried by us together into light. It lifts us beyond sorrow and carries us into strength. It calls us forward with faith unshaken and with hope alive.
From our knees we rise, in faith, in unity, in the promise of tomorrow…
