Summer Vacation!
It’s quite normal that we need to make a second appeal.
Many folks are on the beach or on the trail. Others are in school for the summer or visiting their teacher overseas. We’re all over the map in the summer, I’m sure.
I have to laugh because I spend 365 days a year at my computer, watching the seasons go by, and I love it.
Is that normal?
To have found what you love to do in life is a great blessing. Time disappears for me whenever I can quietly write away. And dunk peanut-butter cookies in my coffee. I’m in heaven.
As Joseph Campbell said, until we find our love-work, follow your bliss. We’d probably now say follow your heart. That’s how it is for me every day that I write.
But today it’s my task to turn to you and ask you to support us financially.
We have a very simple operation. Everything on the site from the counsel of the Company of Heaven to our commentary and advice, from databases to articles to books is free.
The Mother has asked us to turn for our sustenance to those of you who have the disposable income and the desire to support us.
But, as you know, the day we don’t receive from you the financial support we need is, unfortunately, a week or two away from us having to close our doors and scramble for something else to do as a livelihood. (Do I have to write about pulp mills again? Arrrrgh….)
