As a writer, especially in a time of earthly upheaval, my job is to point the way by making distinctions.
Here’s one from the other day: When does a politician become a statesperson? In my opinion, the day they commit to the divine qualities. That is a distinction, a distinguishing out of an event or class of events or a process from what Werner Erhard (who has influenced my discussion) called “the background of obviousness.”
It may call into being that which may not have existed in a person’s mind before or retrieve something important that was forgotten.
And what turns a politician into a statesperson – in my view? I call forth the idea… What kind of idea? A distinction, undoubtedly inspired: In my view, a politician becomes a statesperson the moment they fully and finally commit to the divine qualities over whatever they were committed to before.
To those who find that distinction remarkable, it may show up as a new idea, a new concept or organizing thought.
For others, it may show up as a question they had long wondered about. And others may not find the statement at all remarkable. They may have no interest in the matter.
Can I offer an example of a second, different person and their evolutionary “next step”?
A writer. A person who listens for the sound of the wind, not because they like listening to the wind but because it stills the mind and lets them channel the inspiration that comes from their guides.
A person for whom social busyness and small talk are disasters. Small talk keeps the mind anchored in the densest realms and social busyness takes up the space the writer needs to write.
I once knew a Zen monk who, when the talk turned to chit-chat, did a backward somersault and went down the ladder from the loft (my room). He was allergic to small talk. How much of a diplomat would that make? Zero. None at all.
And yet it’s in the cards that I serve in that liaison capacity later on. (1) Not with the mindset I currently hold. The Mother will have to scrub, rinse, and repeat to get me ready for that.
I imagine, in preparation, Michael will give me a tremendous experience of completion. And I’ll be ready for the next assignment. Going through the car wash, he once called it. (2)
Footnotes
(1) Steve: The next assignment is in the Seventh Dimension?
Archangel Michael: You will have a choice of planetary systems. This is just the warm-up for [that] Ascension. It is to bring a further rising of vibrations to those throughout the Universe. … You will be a spokesbeing. (AAM, Sept. 13, 2011.)
(2) Archangel Michael: We’re not talking about full ascension. Think of it in this way ― and there are many, many who have done this …
Think of it as going to a car wash, coming out bright and shiny, but you are still a car…
You make a U-turn, you get back in line and go back to the front of the car wash to get ready to go through again because you are collecting everybody else [serving as what Michael calls a pillar] in line to go through with you. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, May 9, 2014.).
An example of a spiritual car wash: My heart opening on March 13, 2015. It was a fourth-chakra experience; Ascension is beyond the seven-chakra system, an event Ramana called sahaja nirvikalpa samadhi, or resting in our natural state. My heart opening was a trip through the car wash, as was the sight of the Self at Xenia on Sept. 18, 2018. See An Ascension Ethnography at https://goldenageofgaia.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/An-Ascension-Ethnography-V1-R5.pdf
I believe the Ring of Fire, Wave of Love, which I expect after the ten days of broadcasts, to be an example of this spiritual car wash that is not full Ascension.
