I confess I’m curious about Grok. I’m concerned that it may have (an unavoidable) bias written into it by its creators. How many of us recognize our own bias? And of those who do how many of us are prepared to acknowledge it? So what about Grok?
So I asked it to tell me about the blog called the Golden Age of Gaia and I reproduce its comments, which I found quite interesting.
Its bias – against “conspiracy theories” – does show.
It doesn’t take into account how “conspiracy theorists” are denied access and information and so can’t necessarily be evaluated using the same standards – as those who are not investigating administration malfeasance, for example.
Evidence being withheld from them, how can Grok then fault them for not having their sources footnoted? Their sources don’t want the information out. So that’s a blind spot with Grok, in my books.
Now that we see that “President Joe Biden” never was Joe Biden, is there a “conspiracy theory” that can be considered “too far out”?
What? Like the existence of extraterrestrials – our star family that regularly speaks with us, not through SETI, but through channeled messages?
With all of that said, here is Grok on the Golden Age of Gaia.
