Have you ever worked on a project building something but still need that finishing touch to make it perfect?
So after the welds cool and the sanding is done, you grab a can of spray paint.
A can of spray paint rattles when you shake it.
If it doesn’t rattle, shake it harder until the little ball inside comes loose from the thick paint at the bottom and starts rolling around.
This little ball is called the agitator.
The whole purpose it serves is to stir up the paint inside the can.
The color pigment settles to the bottom of the can, requiring a stirring of the paint to blend with the oils.
This is an invaluable step that cannot be skipped.
By shaking the can without an agitator there is no guarantee that the paint will actually get mixed.
You can spray the paint without shaking but it will spray out thin discolored paint or even no color at all.
Shaking the can vigorously for a good length of time is necessary to get the paint thoroughly mixed and ready for application.
Take time to mix well and the job you are trying to do will turn out so much nicer.
I point out the purpose of an agitator for a very good reason.
Another name for agitator could be disruptor.
As we all know the world is getting pretty shook up right now.
It seems to me everywhere I turn people are upset and everyone that is disillusioned is blaming President Trump.
Many of the victims of TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, are shouting about civil war in the United States because of his dictatorship.
This is where I take a deep breath and gather together as much patience and compassion as I can muster.
Trump is the disruptor.
This is true. And it isn’t just in the United States.
He is a global disruptor.
The concern about a civil war falls short of the totality of it all.
If it were a civil war, it’s already been played out and is over.
The election provided our decision on that scenario.
This is a global disruption because there is a whole lot of stuff that has gotten stuck and needs to get stirred up.
We can shake the can but without an agitator nothing would get stirred.
We can point out elements of corruption and injustice but after a few shakes nothing would change.
We need full scale disruption to get to the bottom of this can.
This world needs a vigorous shaking to get all of the stuck hidden content out into the mix.
Did you notice at the Jan 20th inauguration President Trump was wearing a purple tie?
Purple is the mix of red and blue.
This man is fully aware of what it takes to mix up the colors and get them to blend together.
Watch how he approaches his political encounters. If they act stuck, he becomes the agitator.
People who don’t want to change or don’t understand that we need to change become agitated at all the change afoot.
People that see the change but don’t want the change try to become agitators on their own turf.
It’s a counter action and confuses some people but in the end I believe all this agitation will help stir the paint.
Creating change on a global level is messy business.
It takes time to get the mix going in the same direction.
Without the disruption it just wouldn’t be effective.
Without the whole world involved, it wouldn’t solve the problem or bring about a solution.
This is a chance for the whole world to work together and get it right once and for all.
This project isn’t anywhere near completion.
This is a project that needed the disruptor in order to get it started.
Not that it’s the beginning of this project but it needed to get everyone involved.
Too many people were sitting on the sidelines thinking this had nothing to do with them.
Nothing is farther from the truth.
This is a group project. A worldwide project.
This is the greatest Humanitarian project ever attempted in our lifetime.
Its possible it compares to the building of the Pyramids, the Garden of Eden and the resurrection of Atlantis all combined.
Too many people only see it as politics.
All anyone ever cares about is if the tax cuts or tariffs affect them.
Or if green cards are legitimate forms of citizenship .
Or if they can’t say ‘everyone matters’ any more.
We get so blinded by the disruption we don’t see the project.
And we get so upset at the disruption, we feel the need to blame them, him, for the chaos swirling around us.
I personally have yet been able to do any big project without first making a huge mess.
Those without vision get confused by the chaos.
Even if provided with a blueprint of what is to come, they squawk if they have to watch where they step in the interim.
Road construction is a prime example of this.
No one wants to detour, but they all love the new pavement.
‘Bear with me for a while’ President Trump said.
He is telling us this is a project and it will require some disruption.
Reconstruction is more difficult than a brand new build.
It takes dismantling before putting it back together.
With that said, I will add that it will also take a good deal of patience.
With so much misunderstanding, it will require a great deal of compassion.
With so much agitation it will cause reactions, raise emotions and create a great deal of discomfort.
Have faith.
This is the greatest Humanitarian project of our time.
This is not one man.
This is all of us.
Quit complaining and Roll up your sleeves.
It’s time we all do our part too.
