The toughest thing about change is, well, …changing.
Dense fog has moved in and is limiting visibility.
I will heed the warnings from everyone everywhere and stay in as much as possible today.
The fog may be just fog but then again it could be something else.
When will it be okay to go out and play again?
When things change.
And so we wait.
Are we there yet?
And… we wait some more.
Ugh, isn’t this the hard part?
Yes, we have begun the toughest thing about change.
We have started changing ‘things’.
The change began as a grassroots movement.
Then people found a voice in the majority and said we need a change.
Getting that change to take place is going to take some time.
But look around at the chaos.
Look around at the protests.
Look around at the crumbling of our establishments.
Look around at all the uncertainty.
No matter the judgement of it being good or bad, It is happening.
What seemed like a fire storm has actually been a decades long slow burn.
That flame has now been fed and is reaching a crescendo.
A fire tornado was necessary to whip up a frenzy strong enough to release the grip of deception.
Implementation had to be scorched earth in order to [capture] everyone’s attention.
But now that Rome is burning, beyond the fire line some spectators stand in disbelief.
Reject or rejoice, there is no more denial.
On the outer edge the significance of the storm is creeping in more slowly.
Like a fog that covers all things, there has been a blurring of perspectives.
Visibility for some is more limited than for others.
Especially if you are at an epicenter of one of these crumbling establishments.
Even harder than accepting change is changing when it’s not your idea.
In this situation a narrow focus becomes tunneled.
Emotional maturity fish slaps the I Q test.
The ego spins and demands are proclaimed for self preservation.
Stability, support and puppet strings gone, a grasping at straws begins.
Panic grips those who have been disempowered from critical life skills.
Sometimes getting knocked down is how we learn to get up again.
This is not a time for blindness, this is a time for breathing.
This is a time for stepping back and re-negotiating.
Avoid unnecessary waste of your precious reserves.
Something just happened and you need to clear your mind.
When traversing fog in an unknown landscape one must make careful considerations.
When the world as you knew it, and had accepted, is crumbling around you, all may seem lost.
But it isn’t all lost. It is just you. You seem lost.
And that is exactly who you need to find.
You are not lost. You are just in the fog of war.
And when that fog clears there will be structure once again.
That structure will be different and it really will be a new landscape.
By this point you may realize that you have changed.
Changes that you yourself have made.
This is entirely your choice.
Look not to the things you cannot change but to the ones you can.
In this opportunity not all is lost.
This is the when and where you find yourself.
Standing in your own knowing.
Now then, ask yourself, What can I do?
Sometimes in life it helps to ask yourself, what if?
What if they are right?
What if we need to ask more questions ?
What if it can be done differently?
‘What if’, opens minds.
‘What if’, opens doors.
‘What if’, opens the future.
What if we can make this a better world?
What would you do next?
Opportunity awaits us all
