In honor of what Elon Musk and Vivek are about to accomplish with DOGE:
- Listen closely to what Ronald Reagan had to say about the permanent bureaucracy.
- Look at all the egregious ways our government wastes money, and
- Examine Trump’s similarities to Andrew Jackson.
Reagan would 100% have been on board with their mission.
“We’ve gotten in the habit over the last forty years of thinking the government has the answers. There’s very little that the government can do as efficiently and as economically as the people can do themselves. And if government would shut the doors and sneak away for about three weeks, we’d never miss them.
Our biggest problem is that we have built a permanent structure of government, federal state, and local, the permanent employees and they’ve come to the place where they actually determine policy in this country more than the Congress of the United States.
There are fourteen and a half million public employees in the United States. That’s quite a voting block. And the bureaus and agencies, [hiding?] in Washington…there was a senator the other day, and he took up some pages of the congressional record. He was doing the same thing you were doing: listing all these crazy research programs, and how much they were costing…
What would you say if I told you about one a study in which this was called the Demography of Happiness? And in this study, the government found out that young people are happier than old people. And they found out that people had earned more are happier than people that had earned less. And they found out that well people are happier than sick people. This was two hundred and forty nine thousand dollars to find out it’s better to be rich young and healthy than old poor…”
Dr Phil highlighted some of the ways your government wastes money, and it is nothing short of mind-blowing.
- Fauci spent over four hundred thousand dollars attempting to turn monkeys into transgenders.
- Two point one million dollars on sex education for commercial sex workers in Ethiopia.
- 556 thousand dollars for a study of feces from various mammals.
- Nine point four million dollars for Kyrgy’s Republic for anti-corruption. We could use that here.
- IRS at three point six billion dollars in stimulus checks to two point two million dead people.
- The National Science Foundation gave three hundred thousand dollars to the University of Wisconsin for a virtual reality penguin study.
- Harvard spent seventy-five thousand dollars in federal grants to blow lizards off trees with leaf blower. You can’t make this up.
- They spent two point seven million dollars studying cats running on treadmills.
- They spent one point seven billion on hot dogs walking in the heat.
- They spent twelve million on how monkeys sleep while they’re on meth. They spent another one point eight million on monkeys gambling. They spent twelve million dollars on monkeys on meth.
- It’s one million dollars from Nassau to prepare the nation’s religions for the discovery of extraterrestrial life.
- Health and Human Services made a one point four million dollar grant for sex education for California prostitutes.
- A million dollars went for a study on where it hurts the most to be stung by a bee. And it turns out it’s the nostril.
2023: Based on the available data, approximately 2.95 million federal employees, including unelected employees, worked in the federal government. Some of these federal government employees are the same exact people who actually framed Trump for treason in tandem with Clinton and Obama.
The amount of Federal Employees totals over nineteen and a half million people.
Elon Musk reportedly fired 7,500 employees, or around 80% of Twitter’s work force, many of whom did absolutely nothing useful. You can’t even tell that Twitter is any different in terms of functionality nowadays from then, despite losing that many people. This is akin to our government in many many ways.
The un-elected bureaucracy is like a parasite on the backs of the American people, psy-op’ing us out of our hard-earned money through what amounts to drastic waste.
Vivek has claimed that we could cut over 75% of the government. Imagine how much greater the country could become with this excess fat, as Reagan calls it, trimmed.
As of this writing, the current national debt is over thirty-six trillion dollars. This makes 1924’s debt of 394 billion look like chump change.
On January 8, 1835, President Andrew Jackson paid off the United States National debt entirely. It was the only time in U.S. history that the national debt stood at zero. He viciously and courageously opposed the central banks of his time. Many believe this was one of the reasons he was shot and nearly killed.
Just hours before Trump was almost assassinated, he brought up that he considered himself in the company of both Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln as the most persecuted Presidents in history. How fitting that right before he was about to enter the lone gunman club, Trump brought up two presidents who were shot for being way too over-the-target in their missions.
Now Trump has surrounded himself with people who are making it their mission to eliminate the fat in government bureaucracy, and end the debt.
“He launched a campaign to sweep out government corruption totally…He battled the centralized financial power that brought influence at our citizen’s expense..He imposed tariffs on foreign countries to protect American workers. That sounds very familiar..
Andrew Jackson was called many names, accused of many things, and by fighting for change earned many many enemies. Today the portrait of this orphan son who rose to the Presidency hangs proudly in the Oval office.. I brought the Andrew Jackson portrait there.. Right behind, boom, over my left shoulder.”

Vivek Ramaswamy’s possible plan for the US government could make him a tremendous number of enemies, but it must be done:
- He will eliminate 75% of government employees, 50% in the first year.
- He wants to shut down the FBI, the ATF, the CDC, the Department of Education, and the IRS.
- He already has a plan to bypass the slow legislative agenda in Congress.
- He wants anti-government bulldogs in positions of power.
- He will help grow the economy by shutting down all of the unnecessary and bloated bureaucracy without having to touch Social Security or Medicare.
- The failed Department of Education will be shut down.
If Elon and Vivek accomplish even half of this, we are looking at a vastly improved government. Ronald Reagan said it best:
He perfectly explains the insane excesses of big government, and how secrecy and people’s ignorance allowed such waste to occur.
“Well balancing the budget is like protecting your virtue, you have to learn to say no. In addition to a simplified income tax, why shouldn’t we also have a law that says that anytime a legislator or a congressman introduces a spending program, he has to introduce with it a tax program to pay for it, then let the people find out?
There was a woman that, from a financial firm that was back at the president’s economic council…She says put a hundred dollar bill in each person’s hand. And then show them the program and say, “Now isn’t that a nice program? Do you want it or the hundred dollars?” And she says, “See what the poll says then, and how many people hang on with a hundred dollars instead of the program.”
In other words, if it’s rather hidden and someone doesn’t know exactly where it’s gonna come from, they all start all the government programs start a dollar down and we’ll catch you later.
The Office of Management and Budget in Washington that’s responsible for the budget, putting the budget together…they cannot even tell you how many boards, commissions, agencies, bureaus and departments there are in the federal government. But all of them can pass regulations, and those regulations have the force of law.
And the difference is, when you break the law, you’re innocent until proven guilty. When you break a regulation, the fellow that charges you with a break in the regulation, you’re guilty. If you want to take him to court and prove you’re innocent, that’s up to you.
And all of these are things that, Yes, we can trim the budget. There’s enough fat in the federal government that if you rendered it you could wash the world.”
It’s time to make that vision a reality. Make the government small again!
