Introducing the #Walkway movement.
People are using social media to state their reasons for walking away from the Democratic Party. I haven’t seen a corresponding thread on people leaving the Republican.
#Walkaway has become a phenomenon and I decided to listen to a few of the people’s stories who did. Here they are.
One of the themes I heard is that people feel lied to. They feel talked down to. They don’t feel listened to.
They lied to you about Donald Trump.
They lied about Brett Kavanaugh.
They lied about children in cages.
They lied about #WalkAway.
They lied about the election outcome.
They lied about the Covington Kids.
They lied about Jussie Smollett.
