Mike Rowe ~ Something to Stand For

Mike Rowe talks about his new movie, Something to Stand For, on The Eric Metaxas Radio Show. The film is not a political statement, but it is deeply Patriotic. It was released on June 27th, and if you go to the website for it, you can see if it’s showing at a theater near you. It may not be around for long, though.

Mike says that if you watch the trailer, you’ll be compelled to go see the movie. Mike and Eric are an enjoyable pair to see bouncing dry witticisms and wisdom off one another.

Archangel Michael: Everything that has need to be eliminated, everything that has need to be relinquished, everything that has need to be healed in this cesspool that we call ‘chaos’ has need to come to the surface.
Otherwise – and this has happened many, many times in human history – what happens is there is a belief [that] there is a healing, an accommodation, a remedy, and then the human collective tends to think, ‘Okay, now it is cleaned up. Now it is healed. Now it is done.’
But the core – the core issues of the collective, and of course of the individuals – has not been addressed, and therefore it simply settles in and it festers.
