Reports are coming out from all media sources that Julian Assange has reached a plea agreement that would allow him to go back home to Australia a free man. His time already served makes the sentence of 62 months a moot point.
Court documents outlining the guilty plea were filed on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands, but the deal still has to be approved by a judge.

“Julian is expected to return to Australia after his plea and sentencing, which is scheduled for Wednesday morning, local time in Saipan, the largest island in the Mariana Islands. The hearing is taking place there because of Assange’s opposition to traveling to the continental U.S. and the court’s proximity to Australia.”
