As gardeners on planet Earth everything we do is tied to the weather.
Today is no different in that respect and the weather has once again shifted.
The other day it was 70′ and sunshine all day. Today it’s raining hard with total gray skies.
I look out the window and see that it’s not just rain. Those are big flakes trying to mix their way into the program.
The tall ponderosa pines are swaying from upper level winds as the slowing raindrops show a definite trend toward snow.
Cold, wet and blustery is the forecast at 100% precipitation all day.
Today is a good day to plant more seeds indoors.
I will probably do just that.
Get out the seed packets and plan ahead for the next weather shift.
What have I planted and what gets to be next?
I actually love these days as much as the sunny and bright days.
As long as we get the combination of both all is in balance.
It’s those long winter stretches where the sun doesn’t want to come out at all that is hard to take.
But it’s spring in the northern hemisphere and the sun is scheduled to arrive again.
Which brings me to the point of today’s pontification.
We are on the doorstep of our total solar eclipse on April 8.
So much hoopla around this event that seemingly has nothing to do with solar events at all.
I won’t get into all that as I am not an authority on the situation nor do I desire to play like I know what the game is.
I do know that the sun is directly tied to everything we know on this planet.
The sun is life. Just as the rain as water is life. This is the balance.
Interrupt the regularly scheduled program then we humans sit up and take notice.
When the sun has such a spectacular event planned it affects us all.
Actually I want to back this up for a minute and change the perspective.
The sun isn’t doing anything different at all.
In fact the sun stays being the sun and all its activities are changing in and of itself but those changes have little to do with the eclipse.
All during the solar eclipse the sun will still be hanging out in its orbital space shining and flaring as it will.
From the sun’s perspective, earth is the one that is going into eclipse.
We are the ones going into hiding for a brief period of time ducking behind the moon in delightful play at peek a boo.
Or maybe it’s not Planet earth doing anything at all.
Maybe it’s the moon that is the playful one.
Hmmm, this idea strikes me as the more likely scenario.
Don’t get me started on if the moon is real or not.
Of course it’s real. I can see it every night.
The question is, what is it really?
I do not have the answer to that but keep my mind open to all possibilities.
If it can be steered in some manner then I would say it is the moon responsible for causing the solar eclipse and the endless speculations being tossed around are missing the target.
Well, some of the speculations.
I am going to be careful where I step with this because I am not the authority on these things.
But I am a lifetime occupant of this planet and have made some observations of my own.
Here is my prediction.
We wake up on Monday and see what the weather is like.
Then we plan our day accordingly.
We go outside into the garden and plant some seeds. Maybe even some living plants.
Depending on where you are located, the moon shades the sun from us for a brief amount of time.
Then the sun comes out again and we get on with our day.
It could be we witness a strong wave in the collective from some sort of energetic push and pull.
Maybe we feel the ebb and flow of waves and magnetic interruptions.
I have no doubts that the energies during this time will be powerful.
How can they not be as we are fully programmed at this point to expect just that.
Honestly I feel those things already. So I will remain open to whatever is going to happen.
But for the brief passing of the moon, I really can’t put too much on the sun for this event.
Now if you all want to talk about where we are in the astral plane and the energy that is bringing forth this discussion can get wild.
There is much going on out there, up there and in here.
When we place our intentions we will feel a shift.
Using the known energetic qualities of the sun and moon can be very big common denominators.
What a perfect time to organize large crowds to set an intention for a grand shift.
A huge placebo program. And a genius one at that.
Setting intentions with a planetary population seems to be the game afoot.
There seems to be a continued tug of war for our attention.
Choose wisely everyone. We are very powerful and much more so as a crowd.
I just thought I would bring this simple gardeners perspective.
Sunshine comes and goes. As long as it comes back, life is back in balance.
My intentions will be focused on planting more seeds.
And that is a gardener’s faith.
Happy Eclipse everyone
