The hack from yesterday raises interesting questions.
Was it just some ordinary hacker who just happened to choose our site to play with?
Was it the CIA or FBI – or even NASA – firing a shot across the bow and showing us we’re vulnerable?
Was it the Company of Heaven saying about the NASA article: Do not enter the fray?
For my part, should I stand my ground and say: “Don’t tread on me!”
Was it … wait a minute.
I needn’t go further because I already got the answer. The answer to the question I haven’t yet asked is to report important world events but in neutral language. Avoid sarcasm. Avoid “I told you so.”
It couldn’t hurt to follow this advice, whether or not I stand my ground.
The Golden Age of Gaia appears to have been hacked.
Four posts from today were taken down.
The first was Matthew’s Message.
The second was the article on the flyover over Linda Dillon’s house.
The third was the NASA announcement that UFOs are real and Earth footage of the NASA “moon landing.”
And the fourth was, and this is most disturbing, an article that was not even posted but scheduled for the weekend. To even know its existence, the hacker would have to have been browsing our backstage area.
Moreover, three of the four articles were deleted from “Trash” with one remaining, showing they went there too.
And finally whoever it was even appears to have deleted the videos that went with the stories.
Not nice. These were people who knew how to navigate WordPress.
Censorship? Shot over the bow; i.e., attempt to spook us?
I will restore the articles.
We’ll take whatever precautionary measures we need to, but, if a story suddenly disappears in future, this may be what’s happening.
