Computer Died: Help Requested

Folks, my computer’s logic board has just died. The repair store cannot give me a reliable estimate on when they can get a new part in – up to a week, they say.

I am opting instead to go $200 higher and buy a new but two-year old model.

It’ll come in at around Cdn $1200 (with tax). I invite anyone who wishes to help me with this significant financial outlay to walk on over to the Hope Chest and donate.
