When I read this, I said to myself, I know what he’s talking about. I’m often aware of bumping up against a sort of wall, beyond which I will not go.
It would keep me in the realm of the intellectual – ideas only please; no feelings. Am I thereby confining myself to lower dimensionality?
The minute I’m aware of it, I let the belief and feeling go and move on.
By this action of releasing intellectuality, I demonstrate that Michael’s statement (“a defined enclosure within which that mental intelligence is operating … isn’t true, by the way”) is accurate. I can simply drop my pattern whenever I become aware of it. It shows itself as ephemeral.
I recognize it in passing – like passing troops that are still blazing away, not knowing peace has been declared.
Some years ago I might have stopped at the wall. Now, there’s a layer of awareness that’s been added above that layer. It’s senior and can override the lower level.
But, if I the eternal observer am not aware of the back-wall scenario, then I can absent-mindedly choose to go with it. After that, harm arises.
Wow. I didn’t see all this until this moment. How helpful it is if I want to stay out of harmful but familiar old patterns until I’m anchored in the divine qualities – or the rising love energies do the job for me.

I see that the intellectual side of me is wanting to be self-righteous. When was the first bite taken in the Garden of Eden apple? In my view, right here. When I agree to be self-righteous, chomp. That’s it.
Experience shows that humanity, in our earlier development … say, till 2012 … demonstrated a lack of knowledge of or caring for the difference between good and evil (witness the world wars, Vietnam, Korea, 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.).
We call ourselves “civilized” even as we create monstrous birth defects using Agent Orange and depleted-uranium. The latter is a weapon that can kill the planet and would have if the galactics had not attended to it. (2)
We call ourselves civilized and attempt to depopulate the globe with pandemics and toxic vaccines. Chemtrails, HAARP, 5G, etc., contribute to the damage.
As you can see, we’ve gone beyond genocide to omnicide more than once. (3)
How civilized is all that? Is it an accomplishment? Are we closer to love?
Elsewhere, I’ve described the merely-intellectual side as, ultimately, being like chewing dry oatmeal. Finally it may benefit us, but getting there is no fun.
At the same time, I’m so sick of what self-righteousness (the subject of so much intellectuality) brings that I drop it whenever it arises. And that was one of my major survival skills when young – being right. In my household, if you could prove you were right, you avoided the back of the hand.
If it weren’t for the fact that I can drop it without needing to put something in its place, I might still be clinging to it; as we discussed earlier, I’m addicted to the familiar and addicted to a way of being that is bringing me pain in its train; in short, addicted to pain. (4)
