Thank you, Ottawa Freedom Convoy, for your part in the exposure of a corrupt government. For showing how many government ministers and opposition MPs are tied to the World Economic Forum, itself a bastion of the New World Order.
For showing that Canadians would risk livelihood and life to oppose tyranny and save freedom.
You’ve triggered a worldwide movement which, in the end, I’m certain, will be successful.
I hope the towns and cities you came from celebrate your return. Warriors of peace don’t shoot up the town. Their acts are seen and recognized only by others who also love peace.
We recognize your acts of bravery. You’ve played your part and done enough. Time for another team to carry the ball further down the track, be repressed, and wake the public up some more.
I hope the second act in this drama is a constitutional challenge. If the Supreme Court is also shown to be corrupt, I will feel sorrow. I have the greatest respect for the Supreme Court of Canada.

Meanwhile, the military is waiting in the wings to close the drama down once enough of the population wakes up to what’s happening. Your actions have probably helped to wake up millions of Canadians – and countless people around the world.
And now we have Freedom Convoy USA and the World Freedom Convoys. The movement spreads and expands. This is not the Weimar Republic. No dictator will flourish in these awakened lands.
We will not fail to liberate the world from the dead hand of the New World Order and its surrogate, the World Economic Forum. And we’ll do it together.
Those who are with us are stronger than those who are against us.
Is the trucker convoy really over?

It’s been a month since the first wave of the trucker convoy set out to Ottawa to call for an end to vaccine mandates and vaccine passports, setting off a massive protest movement and a three-week-long presence in downtown Ottawa. Police action over the weekend pushed protesters and their trucks out of downtown Ottawa, yet Justin Trudeau’s state of “emergency” remains in place. A secure perimeter remains in Ottawa and police have announced plans to continue investigating and charging anyone involved in the protest.
In this live edition of The Andrew Lawton Show, True North’s Andrew Lawton talks about his reporting on the ground in Ottawa over the weekend, and speaks to convoy organizer Tom Marazzo about what’s next.

Trudeau will not cancel Emergencies Act despite protests being over
(https://tnc.news/2022/02/21/trudeau-will-not-cancel-emergencies-act-despite-protests-being-over/)
Despite all border crossings being cleared and the crackdown on peaceful protesters in Ottawa concluded, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau indicated Monday that the government would look to extend its use of the Emergencies Act for at least another four weeks.
The vote will take place in the House of Commons on Monday at 8pm ET.
Trudeau justified invoking the Act and urged other MPs to support its continued use.
“Invoking the Emergencies Act has been necessary. Law enforcement agencies relied on it to set up secured areas in downtown Ottawa and at border crossings,” said Trudeau.
“It prevented foreign money from continuing to fund illegal blockades, and it’s making sure our borders remain open. It has been the responsible thing to do.”
The vote is expected to pass. Although Trudeau has a minority government, he needs the support of only one other party to go ahead with the unprecedented measure.
The Conservative Party of Canada and the Bloc Quebecois have both indicated they will vote no, but Jagmeet Singh has said the NDP will support the government.
Singh announced in a media availability on Monday that the NDP would be “reluctantly” supporting the Emergencies Act in order to “protect democracy” and “protect workers” in the house today.
Singh went on to say that the NDP will “pull their support and trigger a vote” on the Emergencies Act as soon as they feel it is “no longer necessary.”
Trudeau had said those who vote no on the use of the Act were only doing so because they didn’t trust the government.
“I can’t imagine that anyone who votes no (on the Emergencies Act) is doing anything other than indicating that they don’t trust the government to make incredibly momentous and important decisions at a very difficult time,” said Trudeau on Monday.
Trudeau is the first Prime Minister in Canadian history to invoke the Emergencies Act since it was created as a successor to the War Measures Act in 1988.
Since the act was invoked, supporters of the freedom convoy have had their bank accounts frozen and police in Ottawa brutally cracked down on protesters over the weekend.
MPs began debating the vote on Saturday after the Liberals cancelled Friday’s session due to police action around Parliament Hill.

Ottawa Judge Denies Bail for Convoy Organizer Tamara Lich Charged With Mischief, Trudeau Government Seek Gag Order Forbidding Her Speech From Prison, Canadian Truckers Are ISIS
Sundance, The Last Refuge, February 22, 2022
(https://tinyurl.com/y5wkbnm3)
And so it begins… An Ottawa Judge has denied bail for convoy organizer Tamara Lich citing the severe threat she poses to the Canadian government and the destabilization of democracy in Canada.
From the 30,000-ft level, the timed delay of the judicial determination appears connected to last night’s parliamentary approval of the Emergency War Measures Act. The Crown stalled the judicial appearance until Parliament affirmed authorization of the EA. The Act provides increased legal measures for the Crown to keep Lich in the bowels of the dungeon as punishment for her high crimes and heinous mischief.
Despite the government and judicial framing of her actions, Mrs. Lich remains only charged with “counseling to create mischief,” interpreted by the communists in the Canadian judiciary as a grievous offense so serious in nature that her incarceration status must remain higher than all former terrorists encountered by the Canadian state.
“You have had plenty of opportunity to remove yourself and even others from this criminal activity but obstinately chose not to, and persistently counselled others not to either,” the judge said, adding that “this community has already been impacted enough.” (link)
Additionally, the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has requested a gag order against Mrs. Lich, which would forbid her speaking to any of the accused co-conspirator dissidents; “A non-communication order that would bar Lich from any communications with three fellow convoy organizers and leaders: Chris Barber, Pat King and B.J. Dichter.”
Following the J6 playbook to a tee, the government of Canada will likely transfer Mrs Lich to a detainment and isolation facility for re-education. As expressed by actions of the Crown, Tamara Lich is considered more dangerous to the Canadian government than ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Invoking the Emergencies Act – the most sweeping set of powers available to a Canadian prime minister, the act that replaced the War Measures Act – only confirms Justin Trudeau’s complete and utter failure at dealing with a positive, optimistic and peaceful grassroots movement.
This comes 18 days after he dismissed this movement as a “small fringe minority.”
The Freedom Convoy will go down in history as one of the most powerful and effective protests our country has ever seen. It has inspired “Canadian-style” freedom convoys all over the world, overzealous rules are being removed and failed leaders are being replaced.
Trudeau has been absent all weekend, hiding out somewhere, having closed-door meetings with no updates and showing no leadership whatsoever. This comes one week after a poll showing BOTH sides of the convoy blame Trudeau the most out of anyone for how the demonstrations have been handled.

After initially fanning the flames, smearing the truckers and sounding remarkably delusional and out of touch, Trudeau stepped back. He seemed to acknowledge he was making things worse, so he almost disappeared, waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Police, Mayor, Premier?
This is where things get really interesting. One of the most remarkable things about the protests is the relaxed, almost supportive attitude of the police. Many seem simply unwilling to arrest or break up these protesters (even when they’ve crossed into civil disobedience).
This has clearly triggered Ottawa journalists. They are fuming and furious that the police aren’t cracking down, towing the trucks, issuing mass fines and arresting the protesters. They desperately want the police to do Trudeau’s dirty work and end this thing.
Instead, we see many videos like this (that angered the journalists and led the Ontario Provincial Police to launch an investigation):
The police are trying to de-escalate tensions, keep the peace. But also, culturally, they’re on the same side as the truckers.
They don’t want to arrest their friends – guys they play hockey with, people they go to church with, or went to high school with. They don’t want to stop people who are (rightly and bravely) standing up against unjust and illiberal laws, especially when public opinion has so sharply shifted.
So suddenly Trudeau wakes up, realizes he’s lost control and that every day he’s absent is another day the protesters are emboldened and his supporters think he’s failed. So he leaks to the media that emergency measures are coming and that he will come out this afternoon swinging.
Unfortunately for Trudeau, his sweeping powers need to be enforced by someone. The police, the military, the towing companies have all to varying degrees thus far refused. Will issuing stronger, louder warnings in his grown-up voice change their minds?
Or will issuing *yet another* set of “temporary and emergency” powers (after two bloody years of “temporary and emergency” powers) simply expose a leader who is angry, out-of-touch and more interested in fortifying his own power than in doing what is right for Canada?
It’s a serious gamble, one that requires others to do the heavy lifting and be on the front line against peaceful protesters, families, blue collar workers, veterans and the diverse group of Canadians who want their freedoms back.
Final point here (aimed at those claiming law and order conservatives are hypocrites for supporting the convoy):
The rule of law is based on the principle that laws are just, equal and fair. Bad laws undermine the rule of law and need to be stopped. That’s what this is all about.
FUREY: Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act to solve a crisis he created
(https://tnc.news/2022/02/17/furey-trudeau-invoked-the-emergencies-act-to-solve-a-crisis-he-created/)
How did we get to the point that the government would make the unprecedented decision to invoke the Emergencies Act?
The current situation didn’t start when Trudeau invoked the act. In fact, when the freedom convoy began, Trudeau escalated tensions by calling truckers and protesters every bad name he could think of.
Anthony Furey discusses.
