Dr. Scott Gottlieb – former FDA Commissioner-turned-member-of-board-of-directors of Pfizer on Sunday said what we’ve known all along: Cloth masks do not protect against Covid.
“Cloth masks aren’t going to provide a lot of protection. That’s the bottom line. This is an airborne illness, we now understand that” Gottlieb said to Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan.
How many immunocompromised people died because they were lied to about the efficacy of cloth masks?

Scott Gottlieb also said that parents should decide if their children receive a COVID-19 booster.
“I certainly don’t think schools should be mandating boosters. I think this should be left up to the discretion of parents and their physicians. You know, it’s going to depend on the individual circumstance,” Gottlieb said during his interview on Face the Nation.
NY Health Commissioner Admits Using Higher Child COVID Hospitalizations Numbers to ‘Motivate’ Parents Into Vaccinating Their Kids

The surprising secret-part-said-out-loud statement came from Dr. Marry Bassett, who this week, acknowledged providing misleading information regarding the “upward trend” in child COVID-19 related hospitalizations. Further, she acknowledged the misleading statements were made to “motivate” parents to vaccinate their children.
The Health Commissioner’s Office folded-in misleading information into last Friday’s health alert. The report did not include sources, stats, or verifiable statements but indicated that hospitalizations of children with COVID-19 in the greater New York City area were up 400%.
Dr. Bassett was forced to address the matter during a press conference that included Governor Kathy Hochul.
The Blaze asserts that Dr. Bassett “effectively acknowledged that the state health department’s misleadingly framed the numbers to scare parents during the press conference.”
Dr. Bassett said:
“The numbers that we gave on pediatric admissions weren’t intended to make it seem that children were having an epidemic of infection, these were small numbers,” Bassett admitted.
She then said the alert “was based on 50 hospitalizations, and I’ve now given you some larger numbers, but they’re still small numbers.”
When pressed, she added: “It really was to motivate pediatricians and families to seek the protection of vaccination.”

NBC News notes that Dr. Paul Offit, a vaccine expert at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, said he had “seen many kids test positive for the virus recently who hadn’t shown symptoms or come in with a sickness.”
Dr. Offit added: “We’re really not seeing an increase in children [being] hospitalized for COVID or in the intensive care unit for COVID.”
Offit’s statement seems to validate this week’s admission by the CDC that the PCR test for COVID-19 is prone to false readings and can not differentiate between the Flu and COVID-19.
