Folks, World Freedom Day tomorrow may indeed turn out to be successful – and we hope it is – but it also must be one of the most confusing events I’ve come across.
It appears that events are in person. One has to know when and where by visiting the online posters, which are said to be continually updated.
The only posters I’ve found are reproduced below. The details are in the fine print (I hope you can read it).
One common element in them is that protests seem to be being held from 12-3, usually at the most prominent place in the city – for Vancouver, the Art Gallery; for Toronto, Nathan Philipps Square; for Victoria, the Parliament buildings; etc. So you may be able to connect up with the one in your city, if there is one, by going to the city center at 12 o’clock.
In view of the difficulty in knowing details, and hopefully with your understanding, we won’t be answering questions about the event – because we don’t know the details.
We all want world freedom so our best to the organizers.
