Robert F Kennedy Jr.: “These government agencies are orchestrating obedience. This is not the product of democracy. It is the product of a pharmaceutical driven bio-security agenda that will enslave the entire human race and plunge us into a Dystopian nightmare — where the apocalyptic forces of ignorance and greed will be running our lives and ruining our children, and destroying all the dreams and dignity that we hope to give to our children.”
“I came to understand that there were larger problems with vaccines and the central problem was that vaccines in the USA were not safety tested. They have an exemption that is unavailable to any other medical product. … Therefore no one can tell you with any medical authority whether that vaccine is injuring more people than it is saving.
“Clearly there were other problems as well. Problems with the corruption in our political system. Our pharmaceutical companies had not only corrupted our politicians with huge amounts of lobbying money, they [the pharmaceutical companies] had captured the agencies that were supposed to protect Americans from public health threats — the CDC, the FDA, etc. The pharmaceutical companies had also captured the press with advertising dollars which had neutralized the press and the pharmaceutical companies had effectively subverted American democracy.
“By neutralizing all of those institutions that the Founding Fathers of our nation had created to stand between a greedy corporation and a vulnerable child. The Congress had been corrupted, the regulatory agencies were captured, they had become the sock-puppets for the industry that were suppose to regulate — the press had been side-lined.
“Worst of all, they had passed a law in our country that gave all pharmaceutical companies complete immunity from liability. So there was no incentive for any of those companies to make vaccines safe.
“Little by little we recognized that this was not just an American issue. This was a global issue. The pharmaceutical companies are even more powerful than oil, more powerful than the chemical industry. And a greater threat — not only to our children’s health — but to all the institution of democracy not only in the USA, but all around the globe.
“The pharmaceutical industry is operating and capturing politicians, running governments in every nation on the globe. … We need people who have courage, people who have a non-conformist way of thinking. People who understand that we are being lied to — that the entire political structure today is saturated in pharmaceutical propaganda.
“We are at a most critical inflection point in human history — the largest and most critical inflection point that humanity has ever encountered. For many years totalitarian/authoritarian states have used the power of FEAR to engineer compliance in populations.
“During the Nuremberg trials [WWII], Herman Goering was asked how he made the German people compliant? Goering said, ‘It’s not just Germany. This works in any country, whether it’s a fascist country or a communist country, or a monarchy or a democracy. All the rulers need to do is to tell people that there is something they need to be fearful of. Point a finger at that source of their fear. And you can make human beings do anything you want. You can make them go to the slaughter like sheep, you can make them obey.’
“The Bio-Security Agenda and people like Bill Gates, Anthony Fauci, and DAVOS, and all of these people who are now running the global economy — they have understood for years that they have a power that no totalitarian government has ever had available to it. …
“[Fear] will make us voluntarily give up our human rights, our civil rights and walk like sheep into the abattoir. And now [these people] have a source of fear that is the most pervasive and all encompassing power that they have ever had — which is the Fear of Pandemics. Governments love pandemics, the same way they love war because it gives them power, it gives them control — and it gives them the power to control obedience on human beings.
“Today we have an inflection of new technologies that give government the capacity to impose controls on populations that have never been imagined before in human history by any tyrant in history.
“We have 5G which has created a surveillance state. 5G is not here for your benefit. … The only reason for 5G is because it allows these big data companies run by Bill Gates, Zuckerberg & Bezos to harvest our data. To listen to your conversations on your cellphone. 5g allows them to transport that data and subject it to analytics — and then to monetize it and sell it.
“Gates is building a city in Arizona with 80,000 people — a data center that will be able to take all this data on your Alexis, your cellphone which are both spying on you. Bill Gate’s satellite system will be able to monitor every square inch of the planet 24 hours a day.
“Once they have digital currency — they will have absolute control over every transaction. They will be able to tax every transaction. The banks will be able to cash in on every transfer of wealth, no matter how minuscule, no matter how small. Also they will be able to enforce obedience — because if you are disobedient they will be able to shut down your bank account and starve you. You’ll have no access to cash. …
“All mechanisms for control that have ever been created will become weapons for obedience for authoritarian regimes, no matter how beneficial or innocent the people who created them. Once you create them — they will be abused. …
We are being lied to. We are not being dealt honestly. We want to see the studies. Is the lockdown killing more people than the Corona Virus?
“When I was a child, my father [Bobby Kennedy] told me – “People in authority lie!” And if we are going to continue to live in a democracy we need to understand that people in authority lie. People in authority will abuse every power that we relinquish to them. And right now we are giving them the power to micromanage every bit of our lives 24 hours a day, and know where we are and the money that we spend.
“They are going to have access to our children, they are going to have the right to compel unwanted medical interventions on us. The WWII Nazis did that in the camps. …
“The science of masks has not been explained. These government agencies are orchestrating obedience.
That dismissive phrase sums up the reaction of many people whose minds are closed to the idea of creating a Universal Basic Income (UBI) program to give vulnerable workers some economic security.
The “free money” putdown is downright insensitive and even cruel in light of the widespread suffering caused by the economic collapse brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. An income guarantee throws a lifeline to those frantically trying to keep their heads above water.
But even after the public health crisis subsides and the economy rebounds, UBI not only would provide financial stability for people watching their jobs exported overseas or automated out of existence, it would also stimulate the economy by freeing would-be entrepreneurs to leave dead-end jobs and take the risk of starting a business. And it can create an opportunity to replace old welfare programs with a new approach that rewards work.
Think about it: In the 1800s, our nation’s economy was mostly agricultural. Then came the Industrial Revolution. People left the land and migrated to cities to work in factories and offices.
The transition caused immense economic and social upheaval. Trade unions were formed to give workers a collective voice and unemployment insurance, workers compensation for workplace injuries, child labor laws and Social Security for the elderly were all established to provide shelter from the storm.
A new economic revolution is now upon us. Robots are rapidly replacing factory workers. One day soon, robots also will be delivering packages, laying bricks, hanging drywall, pouring cement, installing carpet, flipping burgers.
Driverless vehicles are coming. When they arrive, the millions of truck drivers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, and other Americans who drive for a living will have to find another line of work, or else go on welfare.
Those old welfare programs were constructed generations ago in response to the turmoil of the Industrial Revolution. We spend hundreds of billions of dollars on them every year. Recipients have to be poor to get help and must stay poor to keep it. With UBI, in contrast, the more you work, the better off you are. You can climb the ladder and keep right on climbing.
No one can live on $1,000 a month. But the security of a basic income payment makes it possible to work for low wages and not be doomed to live in poverty. And for those longing to start their own business who are now stuck living paycheck to paycheck, UBI makes it possible to reach for that dream.
A national UBI would enable people to make a better life for themselves, and create a more prosperous economy for everyone.
In a single day during the pandemic, America’s richest man, Jeff Bezos, got $13 billion richer. American households lost $6.5 trillion in March. UBI would tip the scales back, especially if it’s paid for by restoring a system of taxation based on the ability to pay.
Barely a year ago, UBI was an obscure theory. Not anymore. Democrat Andrew Yang made it the centerpiece of his presidential campaign. In March, Republican Senator Mitt Romney of Utah called for $1,000 payments to every adult American.
Legislation to establish UBI has been introduced in Congress and, in April, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said an income guarantee is “worthy of attention now” as the pandemic continues to throttle the economy.
She’s right. It is worthy of more than attention. Its time has come.
