Folks,
I don’t like writing appeals. You probably don’t like reading them.
I’ve decided that this is the last one I’ll write.
If we don’t succeed in reaching a manageable level of continuing donations (not one-time-plus-continuing, but continuing) by Oct. 1, I have a Plan B that I’ll be acting on.
At my next reading with Michael, I’ll be relaying to him (he obviously knows already) that I won’t be writing appeals in the future.
I’ll be asking him to find another way to finance the blog or we’ll need to go into hiatus until after the Reval and get other kinds of jobs for ourselves.
I know many people are struggling to make ends meet, just as we are. It’s tough all around and I get it. The days of the Hope Chest are a distant memory and there’s no way now for us to help you.
The Reval is the only thing I can see that will ensure the financial salvation of all of us.
I can only speak for myself. I personally have had as much financial stress as I can manage while still writing an Ascension ethnography and informational articles. I can’t write under these circumstances. Sooner or later I’m going to drop from internal dissonance.
A new and better means, all the way around, must be found.
I’m sure a better arrangement will be made and save all of us what none of us are probably enjoying.
I notice that the first article on the 2012 Scenario was posted Sept. 24, 2009. It’s been a wonderful, mind-blowing decade! I’ve treasured every minute of it.
And thank you: With your partnership and indulgence, I have grown. I hope you did too. (OK, OK, I know you did.)
I must report that, based on the response to my last monthly appeal message, which the Mother asks that we make, (1) the blog will need to go through a drastic downsizing as of the first of the month.
We may need to go into hiatus while we see to our own finances. I know I will. My attention will have to go elsewhere.
I know the scenario. I’ve been here before.
My tension level will go dramatically up; my awareness will go drastically down. It’s like a car wreck for the consciousness. I won’t want to appear before you in that shape.
The site itself would always remain here, as an archive of these years. And you can bet your boots I’ll be in the back somewhere, tinkering and getting out a book or two.
But we’re not energizing that scenario. We’re energizing the outcome that you value the service we provide as a news source on galactic events and celestial intentions and an Ascension ethnography and record of our journey.
If you do, then the pure mathematics of it are that you as a family of lightworkers, making perhaps 40,000 visits a day to this site and Facebook, (1) will have to contribute to its upkeep or it will go under.
If one out of every four of you took the time to contribute $.50 a month, we could be spared walking the financial edge and get on with our jobs, which is to ascend with everyone else and write about it.
One out of every four readers – $.50 a month: What else can you buy for that amount? I can’t think of anything.
Did we make the wrong choice in having everything on this site be free? Was that ahead of its time? Is the support of the leading edge of contemplative activists (us and others) something our society is just not ready for yet?
I don’t think so. We are lightworkers, the leading edge of the leading edge. We’re awake.
I believe that we’re willing to support those who are on the frontlines, reporting events, who have no time to worry about how they’ll pay their rents.
We can see when something we value is in jeopardy and we have the intention required to set about fixing it.
Please, donate to the continued existence of the blog. We want to serve you in this way and we hope you value our service.
With our love.

(1) 40,000 hits a day to this site is my best guess from stats I looked at a long time ago. Facebook is a guess. It’s all a butcher’s hook. Michael brings our readers to us and I don’t ordinarily think about the subject of hits per day.
Here ‘s how to donate:
(1) Please click above or here https://hopeche.st/donate/, where you’ll see:
“Make a one-time donation to Golden Age of Gaia” or “Make a monthly donation to Golden Age of Gaia.”
If you choose the latter, once you set up your donation, it will be deducted from your PayPal account or credit card. You can always change the amount or cancel it by going to your PayPal account.
(2) Please enter the amount.
(3) Hit “subscribe” and set up the means by which your donation will be paid.
(4) If you have a question, please contact Karen at the Hope Chest: hopeche.st/contact/
Note from Karen: If you wish to use a credit card, it needs to be a card that is not hooked up to or associated with your Paypal or it will automatically go through Paypal.
Footnotes
(1) Steve: This [condition] that we are having to endure just doesn’t seem necessary.
Divine Mother: You have agreed that you are on, can we say, the receiving end.
Steve: So our allowing ourselves to be in a position to need to ask for help is used as a means to get people to open up?
Divine Mother: To express gratitude, generosity, unity and to express what is valuable to them.
Steve: So that’s what the spiritual meaning of this is. That we serve that purpose of igniting people’s generosity or inspiring it.
Divine Mother: That is correct. You are the catalysts.
Steve: That is what I needed to know. (Divine Mother in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, June 7, 2015.)
Steve: Is it really in the Plan that we continue to approach readers month by month?
AAM: Barring [the Reval], yes, because what human beings are learning, again, is this ebb and flow and the many expressions of love and of sharing. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, April 30, 2019.)
