Graham: This film (made in 1996) was banned in Russia and in France. It’s about a world where everyone is living in harmony with one another and with nature, people help each other, they share everything together, without the need for money.
In the film, Mila, a well-meaning traveler from this planet volunteers to bring a message of self-actualization and harmony to the one planet viewed by all her peers as incorrigible – Earth. Mila is 150 years old and has five children.
Encoded in her brain are telepathic programs designed to restructure the thinking of humans, which include a program designed to inspire the humans to rethink their world and begin asking some difficult questions, and another to rapidly indoctrinate subjects with lofty utopian ideals and makes them deeply aware of themselves.
While billed as a comedy, it paints a clear picture of what’s available to us as a people and planet. Click here to view (1hr, 30 minutes): La Belle Verte
