The meme was a wanted poster. Authorities were trying to locate an individual that had been missing since November 15, 2014, and was no where to be found. That individual was Grass.
I mentioned it to my daughters this morning, and they both looked just as shocked when we realized that it has been 5 months since we saw grass. With temperatures above freezing this week, hopefully the over 2 foot snow cover will decrease significantly and we may just get to see grass for my birthday!
What joy. Such a simple thing spring seems, but what a miracle it really is. We do not need to have faith in spring. We know it will come. It is a given. We just don’t know when. Some years she comes early and other years, like this one, she takes her sweet time, but she always arrives. We trust that.
Truth is, I feel the same way about the new earth. I know it is there, deep down in my soul. I can see signs of it, every single day, as I open my eyes with love and faith in the Divine Mother’s plan. Just like spring, we simply do not know the moment of the full unfolding.
Faith brings us patience, I believe, and I am sure as we witness this divine unfolding we will be glad that the process was not rushed. It will be the most miraculous and wonderful moment of all our collective lifetimes, comparable only to the birth of our sweet universe. I get so excited simply thinking about that and I feel so honored to be a part of it.
What love does not know.
This video has gone viral. I am sharing the video with commentary from the crew at Collective Evolution because I feel it is very powerful. When I watched the video for the first time, tears streamed down my face. It is powerfully moving and so I share with little introduction, in order that you may receive the full impact as well.
Creating sustainable energy generators in the likeness of trees.
This exciting development comes to us from Finland where scientists have been able to use 3-D printers to create individual organic photovoltaic cells in the shape of leaves. The leaves are grouped together into a tree and can generate electricity in a variety of ways. Who knew that electricity could be created by temperature changes and the movement of branches as well as through solar and wind turbine technology?
It really is exciting to see new sustainable and green technology that is sleek and beautiful as well as efficient. Old paradigm creation of utilitarian items did not embrace the beauty of nature, but stood in a power struggle contrast against it. As we move into the new earth, I believe more and more projects will embrace the perfection of nature and utilize the knowledge gained by studying natural systems to enhance the projects.
Nature is after all a perfect and self sustaining technology, but man has simply failed to see this in the past, being too busy trying to control nature, instead of seeing her as a teacher.
Canadians save a deer that was entirely buried in snow.
As the winter has been very harsh, deer in Pointe-Verte, N.B. have been taking a risk and foraging on the shoreline instead of remaining in the woods. One such deer became trapped in deep snow and could not get out.
A group of local men grabbed ropes, a sled and some shovels and decided to save the deer. They dug her out and tied her to the sled, covering her in blankets to warm her. They named her Francois and kept her protected and warm while awaiting transport by the local wildlife service to a safer location.
The kindness of these men to a suffering animal really warms my heart. It is also interesting that while the deer was frightened and growled at her rescuers, she does not struggle and seems to realize they are helping and that she is safe.

A dollar and a Post-it note are a life line for Philadelphia area homeless.
Mason Wartman used to work on Wall Street, but he gave it up to open Rosa’s Pizza in Philadelphia, PA. One day a customer came in and asked to pay for a slice of pizza for someone less fortunate. Mason wrote up the purchase on a Post-it note and stuck it behind the register to be redeemed by the next person who might need it.
This single act started a pizza pay-it-forward revolution that is still blooming to this day. This video shares the experience of locals as they support or are supported by the hope and kindness Rosa’s is dispensing, one slice of pizza at a time!
I am always heartened when I see small acts of kindness grouped together and the energy growing exponentially. Many may feel as if their single small act cannot change the world, but this is only the old way holding us back. Every small act creates a ripple in kindness consciousness and helps it to grow!
