Everything was taken out of the wardrobes and left on the floor leaving no space to enter our rooms. Sterling, foreign currency and some jewellery were stolen. As there was not much evidence found by the Forensic Officer, the case had to be closed.
This was a big challenge for my husband and myself. We’re currently living off our savings and we have a paying guest who lives with us. The cash stolen was the lodging rent that we had received. It was shocking as we were robbed off of our very source of survival.
My husband and I have dedicated our life to our personal spiritual growth and we were taken aback by this sudden situation in our lives that needed attention. There were many questions arising for us about our future, trusting our Divine, whether we can afford our house mortgage, fear of scarcity, issues in relation to money and other insecurities.
I felt deeply hurt to see my privacy had been violated; the burglars came to know everything about our home and lifestyle. It was painful to feel that the beautiful positive space and energy, that we have had been creating since 2008 in our home, had been maliciously damaged.
As I meditated, I was guided to give love to my home and myself. I experienced the deep pain that my home felt because its space was tampered with in a very unloving way. I could connect to its sadness and I started to give it love and hugs.
I had never done this before. I also automatically began talking to it as if it were a living being. I reassured it a few times in a day for next few days that all will be fine and its beautiful space will be restored by my Divine Friends.
The second bedroom in our home was energetically feeling dense and low in comparison to the rest of the house. When some part of our body is not well it needs love, attention and healing.
Similarly, our home needed to be healed. We lit some incense, candle and put some Vedic chants everyday with the intention of giving it love. Also, we recited Vedic chants daily in the room to raise the vibrations. I felt a deep sense of gratitude for my home for all that it has always offered me and words will never be enough to describe it.
A different perspective dawned on to me that this clearing could also be done by all whose houses were burgled as it is likely that there may still be some low energy vibrations that needed to be healed.
Many a time people resort to changing or moving properties or going on holidays or to friends’\relatives’ place to ‘get over’ the incident, thus abandoning the house and space which supported them.
However, when they come back or when another person moves into the house, these uncleared energies are still present and may affect their lives. The onus is on us to treat our homes with love, gratitude, respect, care, friendship and whatever our hearts guide us to do.
This process further unfolded by helping me connect with Mother Gaia who feels the same pain when She is being violated. I had had an epiphany: that sadly we humans are self centered and don’t feel grateful to Her for everything She is always giving us.
Our happiness seems to only depend on all our desires being fulfilled even at the cost of Mother Gaia’s existence. I sent Pink Love energies and gratitude to Her and to every living thing dwelling on Her.
Burglary is an external reflection of energies that may require attention. It brought to light that I am truly blessed to be abundant and have all that I have in my life. The burglar(s) may not even have what I have in my life which made him\them to take the risk of burgling someone’s house.
There was so much consumerism going on when it happened as Christmas was approaching. All the big corporations and businesses were fiercely advertising their “must-have” products, thereby promoting false happiness and even more consumerism.
On the one hand, there are people who have the spending power to buy whatever they want and, on the other, people who don’t have enough money resort to many illegitimate ways of getting it in their lives so that they feel less inferior and also try to become happy like others.
All this made me feel ever more strongly that every human rightfully needs to be living in Divine Unlimited Abundance and Prosperity, Joy, Unconditional Love. Only then can every human treat each other equally and truly live and enjoy life.
This whole process helped me to get to a point where there was: no more attachment to my stolen possessions; no hatred, blame, rage or negative emotions towards the burglars; new found awareness that my home is alive and needed gratitude, love, connection and healing; change in my perspective towards burglary; more Love, respect and appreciation for Mother Gaia; more to what humans can physically see in any situation; the illusion of fear in all avenues of life; Divine unlimited abundance and prosperity as our Divine Birthright and Divine Gift.
It also made me ask myself what does truth mean in our lives; how can we help ourselves and Mother Gaia?
‘Where there is fear, there is no freedom.’
We humans have always looked for security in every step of our lives without truly Trusting our Divine. This has led to the formation of insurance companies and various kinds of insurance policies to suit our fears which we incorrectly term as “needs.”
We trust these insurance companies more than our Divine. If we closely look at our lives we have no freedom and every moment we live in fear or in some kind of insecurity.
This is a vicious circle until we decide to break it. Money is not as important as we humans have made it to be. The more significant area that we need to be aware of is whether the vibration of money in our life leads to power, greed, superiority, fear, attachment, bondage, insecurities, control OR freedom, sharing, fulfillment of our dreams, joy of creation and happiness.
I am deeply grateful to my Spiritual Guides Amma Bhagavan, all my Divine Friends and Masters for Their forever support, love and blessings. They have a special place in my heart.
