Happy Friday, dear friends. My closest friend does not see things the same way as I do.
She lives very far away, and we are constantly sending pictures back and forth to each other. While everyone else clearly sees that I look like my father, because everyone has told me that since I was a little girl, she says I look like the spitting image of my mom.
She also sees my youngest daughter as favoring me, and my oldest as favoring my husband. I, of course, see entirely the opposite. She gets mad at me, when I tell her how much her daughters look like her. She insists that they look just like her husband.
It used to drive me crazy. It frustrated me that she didn’t see things the same way that I did. Since she was my best friend, I wanted her to completely agree with my perception. I realize now, it does not matter at all how she sees things. It doesn’t ever matter how others see us. What totally matters, and is completely true in this situation, is that she loves me.
We so often get caught up in the idea that those who love us should see things the same way that we do. The truth is, we all have the divine right to see things exactly the way we do, and no one needs to agree with us. We each have our own truth, and that is sovereign.
So, now when she mentions a perception that is different from mine, I smile inside and honor the fact that she loves me, no matter how she sees things, and she has the right to view the world according to her own perception.
Today we share the Pope’s reaction to the Charlie Hebdo event in Paris. We move forward from there.
Pope Francis believes there should be respectful limits to free speech in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attacks.
In the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris, which killed 12 journalists at the satirical French magazine, there have been massive unity demonstrations held across France. The gathering in Paris, which included a number of world leaders, standing in solidarity with the French, was the largest demonstration in Paris’ recorded history.
Pope Francis was asked for his reaction to the violent events. He shared his sorrow for the victims, their families and the country of France. He also stated that freedom of speech and expression should be supported. He asked that individuals respect the rights and beliefs of others when expressing themselves.
He believes that mocking another’s deeply held beliefs should not be tolerated. He even went so far as to say, that he would probably punch his own secretary, if he cursed his mother.
He brings up a core point in the freedom of speech debate. While we all have the right to share our beliefs freely, the levels of judgement that are layered within our sharings are sometimes cruel. In years past, free speech allowed for comments that are now seen as extremely discriminatory.
Why are certain levels of speech off limits, related to race and culture, but other comments are supported as freedom of expression. I believe that all beings should operate in the highest integrity when sharing their truth. Being respectful of the rights and freedoms of others should be paramount.
We can disagree with another’s beliefs in an honorable fashion, while avoiding denigrating and inflammatory mocking. I agree with the Pope’s assertions in this matter. When we come from a place of love and compassion, we ultimately respect the beliefs of all beings. This is how we create a world that works for everyone.

It seems that technological innovations are exploding on the scene. One of the reasons behind this is the change in funding platforms for development. In the past, only big companies had the capital and research teams to create new products. With the advent of open-source, social media and crowdfunding, many technological advances, that would have taken years to come to market, if at all, are appearing in the public’s viewfinder much earlier.
In 2015, get ready to see self-tying gym shoes, more seamless virtual reality goggles, bendable smartphones, bikes that generate electricity, and microcomputers that test the blood. I am sure there are plenty of other miraculous advances in store for us, as we move into the new energies. These new innovations come from the human collective consciousness. Imagine how far things will progress once we receive access to all the knowledge in the universe!

Bizarre UFO formation appears in Massachusetts.
Well, there was an amazing video of an orange orb shaped UFO that appeared over a neighborhood in Massachusetts, but it has since been taken down because of copyright issues with Die Hoaxer. I tried to find more information, but it has since completely disappeared from the internet, except for a short article on a UFO sightings blog. This leads me to believe that there was something in the video that was not for mass consumption.
Since I already researched the similarity of this sighting to a classic UFO video, I thought I would leave in the information for your perusal. This supposed event is reminiscent of the Phoenix Lights UFO Sightings in the Arizona area in 1997.

This additional video gives a bit more explanation on the Phoenix Lights. It includes a detailed analysis of the footage by video and UFO experts, as well as eye-witnesses who took photographs of similar phenomenon as early as 1995.

Is that a shadow of a human next to the Mars Rover?
NASA shares a wealth of information from the Mars Curiosity Rover with the public and educators, in an effort to get people excited about space exploration. You can even follow the Mars Rover on Twitter.
Some folks are watching the images returning from the surface of the planet, closer than others. A recent shot taken from the Rover, shows a shadow, appearing next to the apparatus, that is decidedly human in nature.
This short video analyzes the shot. It also shares some information, from a former NASA employee who says they saw humanoid figures on a live feed from Mars in the early ’70’s. They also discuss the fact that the Rover’s solar panels appear encrusted in dust in one image, and totally clean in another.
This image offers more possible evidence that humanoids, or earth humans, are already present on Mars. The video also goes so far as to suggest that NASA personnel may be leaking this evidence, in an effort to get this huge cover-up out to a wider audience.

As a student of biology, I am always interested in the intelligence of animals. Because we can speak, humans tend to judge animals by that parameter. The truth is, that there are many ways to communicate and express intelligence.
This remarkable video will bring to light a few species with remarkable cognitive abilities, that most people do not know about. The more people understand the innate consciousness of animals, the more likely they are to treat them with respect.
