Make sure the white collars know our worth by investing in social capital
This story tells us to “make an investment in social capital that is guaranteed to pay off long term. Organize, support and agitate for living wages. It’s a new prosperity plan that will help nearly every working American in the years to come. This is the one thing you can do to boost social capital, which is an investment that we all have in common.” And we start this type of social investment through our actions and by being a force for change: “Educate yourself and get beyond corporate propaganda. Support workers who just want a decent wage.”
It is suggested that we 1. Write to CEOs, and use our social media platform, to tell them their workers deserve a living wage, not a minimum wage. 2. Get involved, reach out …do something to support local organizations to help make a difference. 3. Write to local and state representatives. Write to Congress –large amounts of pressure really does help. Contact the local news, if you must. I hope this is inspiring and Is motivating you to act …if so, please read the 4 remaining suggestions in the article …and “do.”
This is about getting back to the basics, people. Using our voice to create the change that we want. Our society over the past two decades, I believe, has fallen into a state of apathy and is not filled with the vigor and action we witnessed of the 1960s & ’70s. Of course, I’m not advocating violence, and save the Occupy Wall Street movement and of course a few here and there, it seems as a whole, we have lost our voice, or more specifically lost confidence in our voice being effective. There’s no reason to re-invent the wheel, but a grassroots effort has much power once it starts rolling!

Busted: Off shore accounts are a huge business!
Here we go again: Exposing more corrupt financial deals. And this scam was detailed …it’s amazing how many people are involved, and amazing how deep these operations go. Of course, as we continue to learn of more and more scandalous dealings around the world, I have a strange feeling that these are just the tip of the ice berg. As mind-blowing as these are, I think this is nothing compared to what will be revealed in the very near future.
Israel’s Bank Leumi, with locations in Illinois, California, Florida, and New York, has officially admitted they’ve assisted more than 1,500 US account holders avoid paying taxes. Hiding assets under assumed names and accounts, Bank Leumi used loans to access and move undeclared monies.
“The bank will pay $270 million in fines to the IRS and an additional $130 million to New York’s Department of Financial Services. There are admissions of wrongdoing and a deferred prosecution agreement from U.S. authorities. The U.S. Justice Department filed a conspiracy charge against the bank, but has agreed to defer prosecution for two years. Leumi has admitted that it put client money in tax havens and helped clients create false tax returns over a 10-year period.”
Honestly, I am floored at how detailed this illegal project is! And yet, the cabal’s plan over the past 2-3 centuries to take us out is so much more detailed, divisive and sinister, so …everything is relative, huh? Let me give a quick review, shall we: Private bankers from Israel fly secretly to meet with clients at US hotels, parks and coffee shops; They use Belize-based corporate entities to hide true identity of client; Bank Leumi holds mail services so its harder to trace back to the US client; They keep their foreign offshore accounts undetected from the US government; And after this scandal was exposed, Bank Leumi helped US clients close their accounts to avoid further detection by the US government.

Do we really need a funded study to tell us that something is not working?
Now, this article gets my juices flowing as it discussed energy efficiency –something all of us “should be” concerned about, especially corporations. In a nutshell, this California study reveals that benefits of “green” buildings extend way beyond simply lowering power consumption –hallelujah!
“Aside from saving on power, buildings that are more energy-efficient than the norm demonstrate significant reductions related to water conservation (50%), solid waste management strategies (48%) and sustainable transportation measures (5%), according to the research funded by California’s Air Resources Board and analyzed by the Center for Resource Efficient Communities.”
Furthermore, some findings of this study advocate for transitioning to telecommuting or other practical commuter benefit programs, which in turn, substantially reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. How fantastic is that …I think! Truth be told: It takes no scientific study to tell us that working from home reduces GHG emissions, by definition (duh) –I guess, for me, the best part of this study is that we are finally considering moving in that direction, or at least “getting permission” to being more conscious!
Of course, I have no idea why our society doesn’t just “do what’s right” in the first place, without spending millions and millions of dollars in research to “prove” this is the better way to go. Well, I guess, I’ll take that back: I do have an idea. I believe it’s been to give our power away (not fully aware that we were doing such, of course) … to science, to government, to stagnation and lack of independence. I believe we’ve become so dependent on others –on our government, teachers, doctors, personal trainers, ministers, therapists, parents– to tell us what to think, when to think, and how to think …that it no longer comes natural to most of us. And that my friends has been the goal of the cabal’s since their inception. Are we at a place in our evolution to reclaim our self, to reclaim our Divine Self? Why not? Our current lifestyle is pretty rough, isn’t it? Let’s end our self-propagating misery by standing up for ourselves… now, who’s with me?!
