Invocation of the New Story

The New Story assures that the time of separation and conflict is fast coming to an end. Incremental change from within burdened, complex, and bureaucratic systems would not get us there. Traditional government avenues which have become mired in vitriol and reactivity would not get us there. And certainly corporate interests who quite happy control everything from energy to governments to the food supply to the media certainly won’t get us there. We are talking about a shift of consciousness so fundamental as to render all old structures that are not in full integrity obsolete.
For those immersed in the New Story, The tactics of separation no longer work. We see a very different world. It is one where everything and everyone is connected. We see the fertile ground beyond. We are taking our first baby steps onto it. And it feels better than we could have imagined! It is a world where we know we each are the solution and no one needs to be the problem. It is a world where we tap our untapped potential for doing good, and by doing so find that the doors to heaven are right here on earth.
In the new Story, we don’t need to react in fear and self-protection believing there isn’t enough. Lack is a man-made plan, part of the tactics of the old story of separation and control. Lack is not a given of nature at all. On every front, human creativity and ingenuity can and will tackle every challenge. As our hearts and perspectives expand, the barriers to the world we want begin falling like dominoes. We will wonder how we ever believed in lack.
When we know we are enough, we no longer are hooked into either-or dramas or a need to put our needs and opinions above others. We no longer need to feel powerless. When we know we are enough we are able to be generous and cooperative solution-builders. No longer isolated in a hostile sea of competing agendas and needs, our perspective simplifies, our fears relax, and we realize the stark simplicity offered to us. Give your gift. It is enough. That is all.
Own your piece of the puzzle and trust others to bring theirs. There is no need to control or envy or resent or to feel small. It is in the combining of gifts where the magic is, like stone soup for the whole world. Group victories become your personal victories as you work together with others who want to do their best for the world. You see, the real secret is that we are expanded by one another, not diminished. And by making this one simple shift of feeling we are each enough, we can actually be speeding towards the world we always wanted.
So dear soul, trust, relax your defenses, let go of separation dramas and a need to be seen. In the new world everyone shines, you shine, and no one holds back their love and admiration from you. Know that you are enough just as you are today, this night. You are deeply loved for your gifts, your heart-knowings and your dreams this night. Do you not believe the future could be this good, that it could actually reflect your dearest dreams for the world?
Well, where did you think your dreams came from, and haven’t you wondered why there is such universal agreement about what we all dream for the world? If you are to trust anyone’s vision for how the world should be, trust the one that lives in your heart. It is real. It is there for a reason. It is meant to be lived. It is the ground we step onto now. It is the future we create together. It’s the Great Mother calling you home. The door is open. The fire is lit. Will you come in from the cold?
