But we have to understand that stoning for adultery and a long list of other human-rights abuses are actually going on in the world and they may not stop until we first become aware of them and demand that they stop. The women of India who protested the gang-rape and murder of the young Indian medical student are demonstrating this.
I hesitate to say this but perhaps now is the time. And I have referred to it before. I sat for eight years listening to cases of human-rights abuses which I can’t write about here without risking offending you for saying things that most people may not want to hear.
I’ve listened to Bangladeshi women who were disfigured because their families would not pay for medical attention for girls. I’ve listened to women who were repeatedly raped and used as sexual toys by Russian organized criminals. I’ve listened to Rwandan victims of genocide who saw … no, I cannot bring myself to say what they saw. I’ve never been able to publicly.
These things do go on in our world. Perhaps you, like me, expected them to vanish overnight on Dec. 21, 2012. And now we find that that isn’t going to happen. Instead we must climb gradually and determinedly to the Fifth Dimension and we’re expected to do a great share of that climbing on our own. And we’re also expected to do the lion’s share of bringing the rest of the world along with us.
Evidently terrestrials must correct some of the situations that we either caused or tolerated. Do you see that, in not wanting to hear about these situations now, we may inadvertently be continuing the same lines of behavior?
No, I think that we must look at what’s not working in our world sooner or later. We must address the largescale suffering that people in our own countries endure, such as the many lightworkers who can’t pay their rent, can’t put food on the table and certainly can’t afford medical operations or even medicine in some cases.
And we must also open ourselves to caring about what people in other, less developed countries endure. The time is past for thinking that we’re OK and to heck with the rest of the world. That never worked in the past and it assuredly won’t work now.
Moreover, much of our wealth in developing countries was gained through the exploitation of other countries. We owe a debt to the world for that oppressive behavior as well. It’s time for us to face up to that debt and repay some of it, if only by our thoughts and decisions, whether or not by our money and hard work.
We starseeds came here to experience what was happening on Earth and to assist to raise this planet from the darkness it was in. Does it not make sense that some of us anyways, not all because many people have been here many times while some have been here only a few times, will need a crash course on what life on Earth is really like for the masses of people if we’re to serve them?
It isn’t comforting to know that we agreed before birth to what we’ve encountered in this life. But our suffering may just be part of the contribution we agreed to make for the evolution of the planet from the dark condition it was in many decades ago to the light-filled condition it’s presently entering and the further spread of the light that’s coming in the very near future.
The man who founded the Hard Rock Cafe went through many, many miseries in his life, losing one relative after another. He once asked his spiritual teacher why he had to go through such suffering and his teacher said to him: “To soften your heart.” Are there any of us who haven’t had our hearts softened over this past year by hearing of the suffering of our fellow citizens of planet Earth?
The Syrians, the Egyptians, the Burmese? The Palestinians, the Greeks, the Congolese?
The women of Darfur? The villagers of Afghanistan? The people of Iraq?
Our hopes that we’d instantaneously find ourselves out of this situation and in Paradise with the masters, so to speak, hasn’t proven well-founded. We’ve cried about it. We’ve regretted it and protested it. Now we need to look our situation straight in the face and recognize the work of the next phase of our evolution.
That next phase is to build a world that works. And part of that is to look at and name the suffering that exists in the world. That’s what doesn’t work and it may largely be up to us to eradicate that suffering.
I have to tell you that I don’t write this blog, nor do the other editors as far as I’m aware, for readership numbers. I almost never look at the figures. I write it to make this world work, no matter what it takes and no matter what it costs.
In its first year of existence, we confronted the cabal and named their murderous and treasonous deeds. We knew that this could result in harm to us and we didn’t care. Now we’re confronting ourselves and our own lethargy and rousing us to take up the work that needs to be done to make this world work, as far as it’s in our power to do so.
You may join us but you also don’t need to. We’re convinced that we have behind us powers who want us to take up this work, but who are also working behind the scenes to ensure its success as far as the natural law allows. We’re told that it fulfils the universal laws for us to take up the work ourselves, even if “the guys in the rafters” are helping us do it.
This unexpected period of time during which we, having been freed of our chains to the dark, are now able to turn to the reformation of the world, the renaissance of compassion and altruistic service, is a time that calls from us commitment and courage. It wasn’t foreseen but it’s here, now nonetheless.
(Actually it probably isn’t so unforeseen or unexpected. We knew that, when NESARA arrived, we’d need to begin our lightworker service to the world, restoring the parts of the Earth that have been devastated and reviving the population. We just didn’t know that it would happen before.)
You can see that we’re feeling more and more able each day to take up this work and that love is increasing, which calls upon us to look now more closely at the situation of others and act. I encourage you not to see this as a chore, but as an opportunity to rise to our full height and find ourselves again in a meaningful and very satisfying and fulfilling way. We are the ones who came here to reconstruct this world. And now is the time of our service.
