I’m having a bit of a battle with a channel and source who are asking me to actually name the source as the one who said that no black limousines would ever be used to pick up people to take them to spaceships.
You recall that I said “Commander X” in asking Grener about the matter. I did so to avoid a light war.
Usually people write asking that a name be removed rather than that a name be added.
She is threatening that, unless I print her source’s name, she will take further action.
I have suggested that that would be unwise because, if she did so, her own source would be revealed as not having checked the matter out, which should be an easy matter to do for a higher-dimensional galactic and a fleet commander.
I’m a wee bit surprised that a higher-dimensional galactic should care about the matter in the first place. It seems to me something of a third-dimensional attitude. I imagine it’s an after-effect of last week’s events.
Also the action she is threatening would be an invocation of Internet laws against copyright violation. Again I’m surprised that a fleet commander would want to take such a course of action. Certainly none that I regard as credible probably would.
So let me say here for the record that Grener was joking when he said that people would be picked up in a limousine. He joked further when he called them “space bikes.” He was referring to two-seater and four-seater spacecraft used to ferry people from Earth to the ships.
The various commentators who said that people would not be picked up in limousines are probably quite correct. But Grener himself never intended to be interpreted literally.
I believe I myself interpreted him literally until corrected, but Grener himself never intended to be taken so.
