A TWIN FLAME STORY

Recently I had an experience that left me in awe of the extent to which each of us is cared for by higher beings. We all are surrounded by angels, Ascended Masters (Saints in Catholic terms), spirit guides, Twin Flames, and loved ones who have returned to the realms of spirit. That we are not always conscious of their presence does not mean they are not there.
We live on a freewill planet; those Light beings residing on other planes and other planets can not make contact with us unless we invite them. I’m sure, however, they communicate with us during sleep when we are more alert and open to speaking with them.
Heretofore, contact with other planes of reality has been viewed with skepticism, ridicule, and accusations of mental illness. The entertainment media often makes fun of such contact, religious organizations either deny it or remain silent—the whole of our traditional societal structure conspires to have us believe we are alone in the Universe.
For this reason, we tend to react with disbelief when we do become aware that we are not alone. We are afraid to talk about our experiences lest someone think we are crazy. We attempt to find a rational, intellectual explanation—to explain it away.
In 2011, multitudes yearn for in-depth connection … a Soul to Soul connection characterized by pure, unconditional love. Because we have lived thousands of incarnations on this and other planets, it is fairly common to meet Soul Mates—those with whom we have shared a variety of roles in the past. We can experience much happiness with our Soul Mates—within marriage, family, friendships, and work environments. Those with whom we feel especially close, regardless of the role they play in our present incarnation, are very likely Soul Mates.
Twin Flames are different. Our Twin Flame is the other half of ourselves. Twin Flames are two halves of the same Soul. The 2nd Creation story in Genesis 2 is a symbolic accounting of Twin Flames—One Soul became Two Halves, Male & Female.
Through eons of time, Twin Flames have chosen a variety of incarnations, often going their separate ways. One Twin Flame may have chosen to incarnate on Earth numerous times, while the other chose to incarnate on another planet or to spend much more time in the spirit realms. For this reason, Twin Flames are seldom together on Earth. Should both be incarnated on Earth, they are likely to be different in ways that can cause the relationship to be difficult, even though the love they share is deep. Elizabeth Clare & Mark Prophet are the most famous examples of Twin Flames being together on Earth.
Elizabeth & Mark married and had children, but their major mission for coming together was to communicate the Ascended Masters’ teachings to the world. After Mark returned to spirit realms, Elizabeth carried on their pioneering work. Because their mission was to introduce new teachings to the world, Elizabeth became a controversial figure. Through the years, Mark supported her from the realms of spirit. The Twin Flame mission is not one of comfort and easy acceptance.
Twin Flames come together for a mission. Theirs is not simply an idyllic love relationship. The next few years are ones of preparation for ascending to 5th dimensional consciousness. A part of the ascension process is reunion with our Twin Flame, who is most likely residing elsewhere—on another planet, on a space ship hovering around Earth, or on one of the planes of spirit.
Distance does not deter telepathic communication. In fact, because you are two halves of a whole, telepathic communication is as simple as having thoughts enter your head and recognizing that they are not your own.
Once we have been consciously reunited with our Twin Flame, accomplishing a mission together is the main item on the pathway to ascension. Just how the reunion with our Twin Flame will occur for persons presently married, I do not know. What I have experienced is that there is no jealousy on the higher planes. The Twin Flame is very respectful of physical plane relationships. Here, I will tell my story.
I first knew of my Twin Flame in spirit in the early 1980s after several years of reading Elizabeth Clare Prophet’s books. I had resigned by secure job and gone out on my own. One day, during meditation, I asked to experience my Twin Flame. Immediately I was overcome with feelings of immense love … tears streamed down my cheeks. At the time, I did not know whether or not I would meet my Twin Flame on earth plane. Like so many of us, I hoped that he would be incarnated on Earth.
The years went by. In 1986, I met one of the kindest men I have ever known. It was love within 30 minutes and we never looked back. I wondered if John and I were Twin Flames, but did not know. We spent the next 4+ years together then, he returned to spirit following brain surgery and 12 days in the hospital.
Several years later, I had re-entered private practice as a metaphysical teacher and counselor. One of the counseling tools I used was the Esoteric Astrological Soul Map. A spirit guide, who appeared elderly, worked with me on the Soul Maps. One day my guide told me that he would no longer be working with me. I dissolved into tears of sorrow. He told me that a younger guide would henceforth take his place and work with me. That is the day my Twin Flame re-entered my life.
The few times he had incarnated on Earth, we spent mainly in Egypt working on cosmic astrology. Now, we were back together—once more working with astrology. He reminded me of his name—Uriel (not to be confused with the Archangel Uriel). I soon learned that I could easily communicate telepathically with Uriel while interpreting a Soul Map. Outside of our work, we seldom communicated because I was still very conscious of John’s presence with me and still wore my wedding ring. As I look back, I realize how respectful Uriel was of John’s and my relationship.
One day, during meditation, Uriel and John entered my consciousness together. John explained that it was time for me to allow him to move on with his own spiritual journey… that I was to remove my wedding ring and some of the many photos of him I had displayed in our home. He accompanied me around the house as I did so, tears streaming. I returned to meditation where John told me that he was now reunited with his Twin Flame.
Shortly thereafter, during meditation, Uriel and I attended a Twin Flame Dedication Service on the higher planes. Thousands of Twin Flame couples were there. St. Germain officiated. We all pledged to fulfill our mission together. The world would resist change, but we promised to continue planting the seeds of a better life for all.
I had known since 1980 that my (our) mission was to bridge the gap between traditional religious beliefs and the spiritual Truths that were increasingly being revealed, such as a recognition of reincarnation as an avenue of spiritual evolution, metaphysical Bible interpretation, and the astrological Soul Map as a means of determining our Soul’s plans for an incarnation.
I recognize now that my Twin Flame stood aside while my physical plane life unfolded with John. If you are presently married, your Twin Flame may be assisting you in unseen ways from another dimension. Your Twin Flame may also be teaching you without you realizing from whom the information is coming.
Uriel has become an integral part of my life. I am aware that much I write is coming from him. When I was still interpreting Soul Maps, he was very active. Many times I argued with him over an interpretation because I wanted to see the configuration he was interpreting. I learned not to question his interpretation. Numerous times, the person whose chart we had interpreted would enter my house and speak the very words Uriel had used … my client had telepathically received the message unawares.
Although I have grown accustomed to Uriel’s comforting presence with me, I was still awed by an event last week.
The Dept. of Motor Vehicles sent out bills for the 2011 registration in September 2010. I paid the bill and forgot about it. Last week, my car’s check the engine light came on and remained on. From previous experience, I knew the light could mean serious problems. On my way home, a rider leaned out of a pick-up window and yelled to me, “lights.” We were moving so that is all I heard. When I got home, I checked the lights and my exhaust pipe. I saw no problem.
I made an appointment with Mazda Service for two days hence and prepared not to drive until my car was repaired. The next day I had errands that I felt needed to be run, so I took a chance on additional damage to my car. A part of me knew it would be okay. The check the engine light was still burning.
About a mile from my house, a policeman drove up behind me and turned on his lights. When we pulled off the road, I cut off the car engine—not wanting it to overheat. The policeman informed me that my registration was out of date and he would have to give me a ticket, which would mean going to court.
The more we talked, the more he seemed to realize that I was truly shocked over his news. He finally agreed to not give me a ticket if I would go immediately to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and straighten out the problem—I had never received my new registration cards and stickers. He told me he would check and hold me to my promise. He left.
When I started the car engine, the check the engine light did not come on. I drove a couple of errands to be sure the light did not come back on. When it remained off, I knew my Twin Flame had been trying to make me understand that I was driving with an out-of-date registration.
At the Dept. of Motor Vehicles, I explained the situation to the receptionist, who told me the policeman would have checked his computer to determine whether or not I had renewed by registration. She gave me a number that would be called and a form to be filled out. The form required information that was in my car, so I had to go back outside to get it. Meanwhile, what if they called my number and I did not appear?
DMV was packed, hot, and would be open only another hour. I was shaken from being stopped by a policeman and uneasy, thinking “what if my number was called while I was outside and I have no way to find out.” (The numbering system has several series of numbers being called.)
Uriel stayed with me. Every time I had a worry thought, I heard him say, “You’re okay.” That went on for the entire 20-30 minutes I sat waiting. Then, sure enough, my number was called! My registration had been renewed. I was issued another registration card with license plate stickers.
On the way home, I was euphoric thinking of the detailed care our friends in spirit give to us. The verse Jesus spoke of the hairs of our head being numbered took on new meaning.
My check the engine light did not come back on! I cancelled the repair appointment, knowing that Uriel had used it to get my attention so he could reveal to me another avenue of trouble about to present itself in the form of a traffic ticket.
Even if you are not in touch with your Twin Flame, there are numerous others in spirit who are standing by, willing to care for you, down to the tiniest detail of your need. Our task is to recognize their presence, open our hearts and minds to them, and invite their participation in our daily lives.
We are never alone … we are loved beyond words! Even if you are not in touch with your Twin Flame, there are numerous others who are caring for all of us, down to the tiniest detail of our need.
Within the ALLNESS THAT IS GOD, there are many helpers!
